Take off the headphones, put down the xbox controller, turn off your phone and head down to the bowling alley with your family... priceless. Great video upload!

I can remember when Bob Benoit did those shots back in 1988. I was an advid PBA Tour watcher , and I myself have been in that position with 11 in a row going for that 12th shot! But I remember this one especially.. cause he was up against Mark Roth (who supposedly threw the greatest shot on the tour. yah right. Not taking away his talent) But Benoit buried those last four shots so deep in the pocket there could have been trees up there and they would have fallen!! So much for that "crankin"

This is the PBA televised finals.. for a good sum of money. If someone had fouled I'm sure they would have caught it and even if it would have cost Benoit his 300 he would have been penalized! It could be the distance or the camera angle. I'm pretty sure Mark Roth would have spoken up too. He would not have cared if it hurt Bob Benoit's feelings. I don't think the PBA is that dumb or oblivious to the rules of the sport to have let two or three fouls to go bye without noticing..c'mon!

on the last strike his left foot goes over the line he should have fouled

I watched closely and all four of the shots were fouls... :D Look at 1:08 especially how deep his foot is inside. So,if there was a judge Mark Roth was going to win this.

No way you can tell if he fouled. You're just a whiner.

There are infrared sensors used to detect foot fouls. If a player's foot touches the foul line, the infrared beam is interrupted and the sensor automatically sets off a light and a buzzer to indicate a foul. This technology has been around way before this match was played in 1988. Some bowling lanes may not have them or they may choose to turn them off. However, since this was a PBA event, it's extremely unlikely that any foot fouls would go undetected, let alone four of them. Also, cameras would have caught a foul had it occurred. You can't see well enough here from behind or from in front, only perpendicular or overhead angles would give a true picture.
