Welcome back to Bowling Science!
After unveiling the all new Radical RESULTS last episode with Mo Pinel, we are back today to dig further into the numbers and discover how this new design accomplishes its... well... quite radical results! This ball represents THE FUTURE OF BALL MOTION! We will discuss both the change in core shape and the changes in core numbers based on how the holes interact with core in each layout. For this study, we stepped it up to a 37 foot sport shot to help show the shape changes in tournament-like situations. Be sure to hit the THUMBS UP button if you like what you see, and subscribe to see more Bowling Science content in the future!
Huge thanks to Radical Bowling Technologies and all the people who helped make this possible! I look forward to bringing you all reviews and debuts for future releases from them.

I love this analysis. I wish this occurred with most ball reviews. It's amazing to see the differences in motion 1 ball can have with such varies layouts. I just can't decide if I want to get 3 Solids, OG's, or Plus's :) or mix-n-match, but that doesn't make much sense with these layouts

Can you tell us more about how each of these layouts would match up to different styles of bowlers and what different patterns they would be best for? -What layout would be best for low speed low rev bowlers on wet/dry house? -What layout would be best for low speed low rev bowlers on flat sport? -What layout would be best for high speed low rev bowlers on wet/dry house? -What layout would be best for high speed low rev bowlers on on flat sport? And so on... Maybe a future video could be: "How to Match a ball to a style and a style to a condition."

Can we see more videos of each layout on the Results? I'm interested in doing the short pin layout with it.

A very nice explanation of some things that actually matter. Might have lost some of the audience on the ratio comments at the end. Might want to revisit that.

Thanks! I am definitely coming back to the angle ratios in my "ultimate layout guide" video. I didnt want to spend another 5 minutes explaining it in this episode, but I felt incomplete not mentioning it. Thanks again for the feedback and viewership!

Early rev vs Puker?Do they both roll forward on the back, obviously the VAL angle is larger on the puker
@BowlingScience
@BowlingScience 4 жыл бұрын
Yes they both roll forward on the back... it's about the angle ratios... both are near the 1:2 range
@flippperboy
@flippperboy 4 жыл бұрын
Hello Mike, what happens if you go beyond 70 degrees on the VAL angle? Is 70 degrees is suppose to be the max on the VAL?
@BowlingScience
@BowlingScience 4 жыл бұрын
You can go longer... I usually wont go more than 90 though...

Bowling Science thanks for the response Mike. Will Mo and Phil make a asymmetrical ball with a low differential like a Venom Recoil from Motiv. There is not to many versatile low differential balls. Most are all symmetrical and only uses pin to pap distance and VAL angle only

@@flippperboy I realize this isn't much good for you now 2yrs later, but just in case someone else sees this at some point in the future. First, look at the drill sheet, drillings C/D/E would all provide a Venom / IQ Tour / Obsession Tour style low differential with this much stronger ball. The E drilling especially, 2:1 Diff to Int Diff ratio, and yet looks soo controllable and hits like a mack truck. I'm planning to buy 3 of these before they are no longer available. Just 3 of which or which for each layout? ugh!!

So a 3.5” pin to pap the pin will migrate to be the new axis? So why doesn’t a long pin to pap produce the most flare since it has the furthest to go to get to the left side of ball or new axis?
@jameslemons7304
@jameslemons7304 2 жыл бұрын
My understanding is, as the pin gets too tall, the core stabilizes in an end over end roll instead of laying the core on it's side the way a short pin does. If you look in the video of the 3 migration paths, the Strong layout path stays near the pin even as it appears to progress further away at the very end. in the Early Rev graphic, the migration path swings down past the thumb so it's going away from the pin. in the video, the Pin also stays much higher on the ball, not quite achieving an end over end roll. just know it's all science, leave it at that unless you plan to take some engineering courses :)

Many thanks, I have been researching "what is the lightest bowling ball available?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Piylivern Remarkable Predominance - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to up your bowling game quickly minus the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my buddy got amazing results with it.
