In this episode of HUNTR podcast, we bring on Brandon McDonald, an avid outdoorsman and real estate investor from Nashville to talk about all things bow hunting. Brandon has his own KZbin channel, producing high-quality content about archery and the hunting world. Whether it's reviewing products, setting up bows, or hunting tips, he does it all with true authenticity. One specific topic we cover is the Josh Bowman scandal, where he was accused of transporting wildlife from Nebraska to Ohio. We talk about it all the time, having hunter ethics and protecting the resource in front of us. It's our mission to have these open and honest conversations with our guests to raise awareness within the hunting community. Enjoy this episode as the guys and Brandon discuss bow hunting today, entertainment in the outdoor industry, and the ethics and legality behind it. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show...

"If we go too far into this, they're gonna sue us." Funniest part of whole deal.

Respect to Brandon as we share a name and I've always enjoyed his content. But I have to disagree with his statement that hunters will shoot as many deer as they are allowed. I hunted Georgia in the 90's and 00's on my own lease and surrounded by other private leases. Georgia has an extremely liberal deer allotment and folks never shot more than what they needed for food, we only have so much freezer space. A typical year would be 2 or 3 does early and then a buck during the rut.

Great episode. I enjoy the material he posts. The court of public opinion is an extremely jealous court.

Interesting show guys. Brandon was great. Regardless of if it is the easy way out pleading guilty is admitting guilt and you really cant walk that back in my mind and I think the mind of the public in general. - Thanks

You guys should look at the Bp Oil Buck poached in Oklahoma. The guy killed a 220” deer, out of season, off a road at night, and when discovered he had 103 other I tagged antler sets in his home. He had only tagged 4 deer legally his entire life.

I agree with needing an agency to regulate and manage the resource. These people are educated with degrees associated with managing the resource and that's why they are selected for the job. But when you allow the public to decide how to manage the resource then your not doing your job. No management is not conservation. RIGHT!

Y’all are incorrect about ppl taking too much meat after a kill. It’s about jealousy. If you kill deer and others don’t, some are proud of you- some are jealous.

Great job guys!Huge fan of Brandon and so glad to see him on here. The biggest issue with Bowmar spearing the bear and loosing his sponsors was because they used pigs blood I believe to put on their face, the spear and all over to make it look more dramatic with the blood.

I commented on one of the bowmars videos about their situation saying it was fishy how everything was handled they legit commented back asking me how it was fishy. I was completely dumbfounded. I mean clearly they’re going to say whatever they want to defend themselves but still, it’s odd as hell the way everything was handled.

15-20 years for poaching deer? Most people don’t even get that for murder. I’m anti-poaching and all, but mercy. Y’all wild lol

What happened with Tyler Jordan shooting that velvet buck at night with aid of tracking dogs. He admitted that it was the deer he shot and posted. That has gotten shut down quietly.
