Man, the fact that it actually was GBA Bowser's Castle 4 annoys be because it's such a good remake compared to the other 3 AND they attempted to make the background different (Even though it's an edited version of 1's, and not a mass of wires hooked to a bomb).

I want both of these Bowser tracks in Mario Kart 8, but it’s probably only going to be SNES Bowser Castle 3. Both are my favorite Bowser tracks.

SNES Bowser's Castle 3 is VERY likely to come to the BCP. GBA Bowser's Castle 4... looks decent if Nintendo is looking to make a BCP 2. By the looks of how people reacted to the BCP, I can definitely see it happening. Just incase you're not in the loop with the leaks, there is 1 more GBA slot coming in Wave 5 for the BCP and that is noted to be Sunset Wilds.

@@tctt185_dg GBA Bowser’s Castle 4 backs up my theory that the unknown tracks in the leak were not brand new tracks but extra slots for retro tracks. Considering how much more effort they put into it than the other GBA Bowser’s Castles there’s no way they aren’t planning on putting it in MK8, and we already know Sunset Wilds is supposed to be getting in, so unless they’ve changed their minds I could see both GBA tracks making their way into the Booster Course Pass. That would also explain why they went with DS Mario Circuit over the much more popular Airship Fortress, since that would also mean both could be in the DLC.

Just because you _think_ the non-prefix tracks are "extra slots for retro tracks", doesn't make it so. Why would they have prefixes for 95+% of all the tracks, as far back as Wave 1, and somehow, leave about 4 or 5 randomly left blank? If there was another GBA track, they'd have put it in. Otherwise, why would they have made the effort to have prefixes for all of Waves 1 to 6, except for a random few?

​@@scmtuk3662 I seriously doubt the 3 wave 6 blank spaces are all nitro tracks We'd for sure get Piranha Plant Cove in wave 5 and the bath track in 6 but they'd still be 2 more blank spaces and noticing every BCP track is ported from Tour I'd see a chance of those 2 spaces to be other 2 retro tracks

When I first played GBA Bowser Castle 4, I didn't even realize that this is a retro track. I though they made a specific new one for MKTour!

Yeah, I guess that is probably the reason why they made the background for BC4 look more destroyed. Not gonna lie, it is quite larger than I have imagined which explains it being 2 sections instead of 2 laps. I wasn't expecting the ending to be so clever with the split. I was wondering where that second glider was coming from to be honest. 😅

@@tctt185_dg Bowser Castle 3 is the worst offender, considering the source track was Blue in the original game (and even as a Retro Track in Wii). Bowser Castle 4 is probably the best one, IMO, considering how much they made it distinct, with the destroyed castle and the fact that it's a sectioned track. Hope GBA Bowser Castle 4 and SNES Bowser Castle 3 get into 8 through Booster Course Pass.

Yeah... Wave 5 is definite for SNES Bowser's Castle 3 as the final SNES slot for the BCP. When you look at the other SNES courses we got, with the exception of Rainbow Road... they all use their third variant. The only other SNES course to have 3 variants is Ghost Valley which would make it useless to add because that is what GBA Boo Lake is based off.

​@@frankieseward8667 Oh boy. I would actually laugh if this ended up being true. But I know what is likely going to actually happen due to the leaks and datamines of both the BCP and Mario Kart Tour. Sorry but we already know what GBA course we are getting in Wave 5 because of the Sound & Prefix Leaks. That is _GBA Sunset Wilds_. It is still accurate. Wave 5 will be the last wave to include courses from SNES and GBA. The SNES course in Wave 5 will very likely be _SNES Bowser Castle 3_, very obvious if you looked at the SNES courses we've got already in 8 Deluxe. Donut Plains and Mario Circuit all used their 3rd variant. The only other SNES courses to have 3 variants or more are Bowser Castle and Ghost Valley. It is definitely not Ghost Valley because that is literally what inspired GBA Boo Lake. _GBA Bowser's Castle 4_ though... yeah... despite it having a great revamp and its very challenging in both length and difficulty, it is not coming to the BCP because there is no more slots for GBA after Wave 5. The files in Mario Kart Tour showed that all of the nitro and city courses are coming to the BCP. We also don't know what Nintendo is going to do after the BCP has been completed. One thing I think could actually happen is a _Booster Course Pass 2_ being a thing. When you look at it, it actually makes total sense. While the current BCP did get a lot of good fan favorites, if you look at Tour and its retro courses, there is SOME great courses that would've fitted in 8 Deluxe perfectly. _DS Airship Fortress_, _GBA Yoshi Desert_, _3DS Shy Guy Bazaar_, _N64 Luigi Raceway_, and oh I don't know _GBA Bowser's Castle 4_. Why has Nintendo skipped these courses in the BCP. I'm still mad that we got DS Mario Circuit in Wave 4. Remember that Nintendo plans DLCs in advance and you gotta consider the reason why we are getting ports from Tour, especially with the city courses... it is all about *preservation* because with _Mario Kart Tour_ being a mobile game... any mobile game has the chance of getting axed off the App Stores. _Mario Kart Tour_ has new drivers, karts, gliders and courses that will be lost if that game got axed. _Doctor Mario_ on mobile got delisted a while back, so the possibility of it happening is likely possible. Having a _Booster Course Pass 2_ makes sense because Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is STILL selling well and players are enjoying having more courses and more drivers. Nintendo takes feedback very seriously. We got moving cars in Wii Coconut Mall in Wave 2 due to our criticism in Wave 1, Custom Items in Wave 3 and killed the Waluigi + Wiggler meta in Wave 4. It is clear that Nintendo is still going to do more stuff to this game. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is practically the Smash Bros. Ultimate of Mario Kart. Guess what Smash Bros Ultimate has, *TWO* Fighters Passes. Now you see my point. Remember that the first Fighters Pass wasn't called "Fighters Pass 1", it was called *Fighters Pass* and the second Pass was called *Fighters Pass 2* - so why not do it to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with BCP 2 being a thing but instead of returning drivers, it's new drivers introduced in Tour.

BC4 is so good! The only thing bugs me is that kinda butchered a few of the turns. The first two loops are fine, but the third after the jump got neutered hard.

They turned 2 of the turns into 1 and removed 2 forks but I still think they weren't done in vein. And the bomb being removed was absolutely justified.

yea, it also takes longer to complete a lap in the new version. this is very bad. technology is moving forward a lot but still the old games are faster at completing a lap. very disappointing for a current gen console that SNES, over 30 years old is faster.

The crunchy look on the 16 bit games makes them look like they have more texture on the road and characters. While MkTour is a higher resolution, comes off as flat in comparison. Would be cool to see a Mario Kart game done in an octopath traveler kinda way hahaha
