Among Guys being next is actually a pretty good idea. Bowser vs Eggman is a ridiculously tough act to follow, so going with a comedic matchup like that shouldn't have people comparing the two directly much since this wasn't a comedy fight.

The only exception would be Sage. Everyone else is either hired help or machines he made. And one of them is Metal Sonic who, while certainly a valuable asset, has betrayed him multiple times. And just about all of them are reliant on his direction (or the direction of Sage and (MAYBE) Metal Sonic). Bowser's army is full of living creatures that follow him of their own free will. There's... a big difference between the two.

To me it looked like Bowser vs Metal Sonic with a hint of Eggman. Either way Moro did an amazing work on the animation. That Showtime was chilling.

Victor Borba's singing was _so goddamn good,_ too. Every "Behold the king!" had so much power behind it. Guy did the vocals for Bury the Light in DMCV and it _shows!_

One subtle thing i like about this battle is Bowser reacts to basically every single one of his troops that got hurt, and goes out his way to protect some of them, often to his own detriment, where as eggman uncaringly fought on no matter how died, at least until sage got sealed with the death egg right at the end. It's a great way to show their feeling about their armies
