I never directly snuck out because I have a Hispanic mother and I enjoy living. However, my high school let out at 2, my dad got home at 4 most days, my brother at 4:30, and my mom at 5. So for at least two hours every day (sometimes my dad had a meeting and stayed late) I could do whatever I wanted and get away with it as long as I was home by 4. Usually I got on my boyfriends bus and went home with him for an hour to “play video games”, then I’d walk half a mile home along the county highway. I also always knew my parents’ work schedules to a T. My dad got days off that I didn’t get because his school took off Muslim and Jewish holidays while mine didn’t, and occasionally my mom would work from home and I needed to know this things to make sure I didn’t screw up and get caught. I didn’t care if my brother was home before me because he’s no snitch, but if I pissed him off that week and he gets home before me he’ll hold it over me for a week.

I've only been trick or treating once and i was okay with it but i never bothered doing it again because i figured that it would be easier to just get a bag of sweets and any other candy from the shops.
