Clearly this is Maple Treeway's theme in a minor key, BUT ALSO: - The layout of Bowser's Castle is very similar to Maple Treeway - The first few turns in both tracks are nearly identical - The wooden bridge at the start is in about the same spot as where the rope bridge in Maple Treeway used to be Yep, this is Maple Treeway after Bowser took over.

@@sfgrgfsf212 the maple treeway start line is somewhere in the wavy corridor in bc. both of them start on a long straight, followed by a left, then a right, then a 180° left turn, then you get shot off of something (cannon in mt, booster ramp in bc). bc was also meant to have a cannon at some point according to an earlier version of its course file.

Imagine a warm and calm day at maple treeway. But at sunset, the wigglers see an indiguistishable mass in the distance behind the trees. This is Bowser's army. He is coming to turn Maple Treeway into a nightmare. At night his Koopa soldiers invade and the paratroopas land by air and they all slaughter the wigglers. Bowser proceeds to burn the site down and his servants build the castle. Mario Kart wii may be accessible for children but his lore is clearly not for them.
