I got Diaghilev based on your recommendation and it was the scent i liked LEAST of the half dozen Roja samples i got So far, nothing beats Qatar. Sweetie is good, and Elysium is super good. Even Creation E was better than Diaghilev, and even Burlington 1819 disappointed me.

Question people, I need advice. First time in my life I smelled Aventus around 2009 when I worked in luxury golf club. Some rich dude had bottle in his locker. I was mind blown. The best smell ever. When my manager told me how much it costs, I was also mind blown because I couldn't afford it. I was 28 yo at the time. Years after when I was 42, I happened to be in Saks 5th Ave. I saw fragrance section and one of first scents I saw was Aventus. I wanted to remind myself of that day and moment from years ago. However this time Aventus stinks. It literally felt like pinosol. It felt awful. Like strong lemon bleach. I was turned off and questioned myself what happened. This time I liked much much better Green Irish Tweed and Santal. Did I get more mature throughout the years or Aventus batch drastically have changed? It just felt weird and wrong.
