In this video I highlight some of basic principles of box and edge modeling in Fusion 360. Box Modeling and Edge Modeling are two different modeling approaches that are both capable of achieving the same result. However, they can also be combined and used together.
This is generally more advanced modelling and I highly recommend you understand the basics of CAD and Parametric Modelling before you try following along to this video. I will continue this series and begin to advance the difficulty, creating more complex objects as we go.

This is great content! I’ve been using F360 for a while now but mainly parametric modeling. This is a great basic tutorial for box and edge modeling that I needed. Thank you!

Hey Gareth, thanks for this tutorial. Would you be able to do a video on how you designed Raptor II in fusion360? Specifically the linkages/how you got the movements working, how you designed each individual part to fit together, and just generally your workflow on designs. I'd be really interested to see how you tackle complex shapes, doesn't have to be on the Raptor II, could be a new/ separate rc or other mechanical device entirely. Thanks!
