Box Braids On SUPER SHORT Natural Hair 2 Months Post Big Chop

I shaved off my natural hair 2 months ago, so right now it is super short! It is possible to box braid short hair, just so long as the braids are small enough.

I'm literally sitting in my living room taking out a bout 20 braids I started yesterday on my twa....my hair length is the same as yours but there's no way I can finish braiding tonight for work tomorrow so I'll have to revisit. Thanks for the inspiration

Six months post bald, going to try this again. I like the way you split up the days. I don't normally do that. Try to get it done in two days. Which now I see isn't the way to go. I'll give myself a week. To start and finish them.

Hi what is that hair dividing and braiding method called?? My method was to use one piece and fold it in the middle as two pieces that braid. Did any slide out and how long did you keep them in? My hair is about this length and even when it was longer, I still had major slippage. I think on this short, even if i touch a braid, it will just slide out since not much of my own hair in each braid

I had a couple slide out, not loads. And I only tend to keep my braids in for a week (I get bored really quickly), I kept these in for two weeks.

this is how i do when I braid my hair. however since I went natural a couple of years ago I havent braided my hair. A couple of mnths ago I cut my hair into a taperd cut and dyed it. I have been thinking about braiding it but it took forever when I had a lot of hair so now Im scared that it will take even longer. My friends use to make fun of me because I would have to take vacation because it would take so long.
