I HAVE WATCHED SO MANY! And THIS is the ONLY ONE that helped!!! I’m a white woman married to a Malawian, we have 3 boys and 1 daughter who is 5, and wants blue braids. I only learned to cornrow recently as my three older boys were never interested until baby girl started wanting braids. I only learned to Dutch braid my own (straight, fine) hair last year! I’ve really been struggling to get the braiding coloured hair close enough to her scalp to look good, but I just realised BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU SAID AT THE END that it is actually better for her to them to begin slightly away from her scalp so she can tie it up!!! Massive weight off my shoulders and I can now relax 🎉 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! 😊
