My issue with this patch is that so many good units are used in other comps than their vertical. Wanna run witchcraft or sugarcraft with a decent frontline dps? Sorry, those units are contested by like 3 other players that aren't even running your vertical. Another issue is probably that we have more than one 1-2-3 traits. I get that it makes it easy to flex with, but it seems like instead it makes dominating comps that run powerful units with marginal synergies because the arcana/preserver/pyro makes up for it. Gwen/Fiora + preservers or Arcana varus gets dispropotionate power compared to someone going 7 frost or 8 portal because they have to run units that don't contribute as much other than traits, whereas every unit in ie arcana spikes your power far more, making that one star hecarim contribute as much in team damage as a three star zoe + jayce in portal.
