Hi Nice video. I have a cheapo SG906 drone that transmits to a mobile via WIFI. Now, If I had to mount a 5.8Ghz FPV combo like this ( and get myself goggles to match ) , can I power the VTX directly from the drone's battery ( assuming the voltage is within specs ) in order to avoid adding another supply ??

I'm busy putting together my quadcopter as well, but I forgot too order standoffs for the cc3d. do you think it will fly well if I mount my flight controller on top of the quad? most people put it in the middle but I can't because I only have some zip ties too mount it and the power distribution board has to be in the middle as well.

dont i need a flight controller like naze 32 aswell as a power distribution board ?

@darkshadowsx59498 жыл бұрын
it's interesting to see how others build theirs. Your process is quite different than what I been seeing. The xt60 cable took 10 minutes to solder on because my soldering iron is only 40W, and couldn't heat up the solder through the thick wire. lol 60W+ is probably best for that. I also put the plastic screws on the other way because I like it that way. That and most people put the ESCs on the arms. You also have extra weight in wire than needed. ;) The reason to build though is to build it how you like. (Thumbs up. )

If black is regular-threaded and silver is reversed, then I'm pretty sure the "self-tightening" motors were put on backwards. You literally put the motors on so that the motors could unscrew themselves. I'll bet the thing flies fine, but still.

+Zachary Moore My naze32 is acting weird and im getting really frustrated. Once i had everything done and was ready to use baseflight, i plug the naze32n in to my windows computer. I get absolutely nothing. The naze doesn't light up and there are no sounds. So then i tried unplugging things off the naze and decided to plug the drone in with the battery, only the UBEC lights up. The naze doesn't make a sound nor does the fpv. What do i do?

So then i tried unplugging things off the naze and decided to plug the drone in with the battery, only the UBEC lights up. The naze doesn't make a sound nor does the fpv.
