I wish you had shown us the actual sewing of those corners. Because I have never seen the sewing clips you used and I would like to now if you sew over them before I buy some.

I don't know if you've found out yet elsewhere, but you don't sew over them! Much like pins, you are supposed to remove as you go. Unlike pins, these clips don't fit under the presser foot. There are ones that can, though, usually called "magic clips" but I just use the ones that you remove as you go. If you had a wide seam allowance, I suppose you could probably leave them in place until the seam is finished.

Must be having brain cramps this morning. I need to make 50/50 raffle totes to hold the tickets and money. The women insist that the best tote is one that holds a plastic shoe box (7x13 ish) in the bottom. Thanks so much for showing me how to make the flat base. What size rectangle of fabric would you suggest that I start with. I started with 18x32 and cut 4" squares. Not good🙄
