Just as a tip, the articles that are a choice between two and you only get one have one dotted line that goes into a symbol with 2 arrows and then splits, for the choices where you get both, there is 2 dotted lines that don't intersect, 1 leading to each option Edit: My dumb brain went straight to the comments so I didn't realise you figured it out later on, ignore this lol

As a side note. You can delete parts of a article separately. This allows you to avoid a topic without getting rid of the whole story.

You can tell if you have to choose between two articles or you get both from the Twisting Arrow symbol where the dotted lines come off them.

it would be really exciting to see what its like to get to other countries. especially since you are getting to the 1940s and idk if they do the war, but if they do it would be good to have people to get overseas.

Been playing non-stop for 4 days 😊 What indo is count articles and stop at rhe number I need. If i have 4 pages to print, I srop at 12 articles. Obviously I so more if breaking news hits or i don't have all the required tags. The food thing about stopping is all the new articles after I stop (that have a black exclamation mark) usually have 4 or 5 days.. so if you sont start them and they are not expired by Monday, they are immediately assignable ro reporters on roll over and are NOT old news. That means after a xouple days i have many.Alao all not found (and non expired) items alao carry over until they time out and thst means i have a huge amount of articles to choose from and can easily skip articles and never run out. Also i usually stop all new articles by Thursday even when priting 5 pages. I basically count articles and stop looking at them after i get to 15. That means i almost never have any old news.

If you click a desk .. then click the 3 arrows that point up.. it will tell you all the buffs you can use for that desk and occupant combo . You can also count the blue chevrons on the person to quickly see how many they have. I check that every time i add a new device or a new person.

The law suits, police fines are a mini game that you left click and try to stop it at no law suits, no fines. If you dont play the mini games, most times will land on max .

The only reason you'd need editing is if your assembler's needs are poorly cared for (starving, no bathroom, no lights) and then they'd start completing stories with those sloppy tags. And it's very hard to fail at that anyway

in a story, if there's not an arrow icon pointing to each next 2 ones where the story split, u need to do both... the ticket price for a story, is how much time u wanna save to get there... the level of the reporter, iirc, is 1h less per level...

you almost need two floors of assemblers it seems. and I think the Editor can make you more money if your articles are better. but the thing is it creates another bottleneck.

Editors only help if the article is bad to begin with. They aren’t yet.

Also, pretty sure from watching the series now, the RNG of getting hit with lawsuits, mobsters, police fines, etc is dependent on the skill of the reporter which is why you got slapped with lawsuits

It is actually just a Minigame, you can avoid them if you stop the needle correctly.
