WHAT IS NEWS TOWER?
In News Tower, you will follow some of the key moments of the 1930s , but it will be up to you whether to cover and even influence them.
It’s up to your reporters to beat the deadline to get the news while it’s hot. Time is money in News Tower!
Use your reporter’s favorite topics to send them searching for the right news to get it faster, or it might already be old news by the time they return. The more they cover a topic, the more experienced they get , allowing you to sharpen your editorial line.
Search for exciting news across the US and the world that matches your reader’s interest and editorial line.
Will you decide to publish gossip to satisfy your readers' thirst for sensational press, or will you always seek hard stories for the truth?
A lot of news offers different avenues of investigation, unveiling diverse versions of the story. Send your reporter down a path, but be mindful of the risk and rewards of each: poking your nose around the mafia may lead to “offers” that you can’t refuse…

Interestingly, I believe most of the headlines are based on actual events from the era. When you pointed out the headline “Boston Braves Coin Toss Loss” and how the sub title about a knee injury should be the headline, I looked it up and found that Turk Edwards actually had a career ending knee injury as he blew his knee out leaving the coin toss ceremony in 1940. The headline now makes a lot more sense. To one of your earlier points, having a small section of article to read for further context of the headlines would be really interesting. Great videos!

Might be worth making your way towards getting an elevator if for no other reason than to make your rooms more convenient without the zig zag stairs

Hey Charlie, nice videos ❤. You need to remove your old news, because as the next month starts your typesetters and assemblers will stil be working on articles that they didn't finish which will be old news and hence reduce the time they have to work on the new articles

You can also remove sections of stories, so if on part is incomplete, you can still run the other(s) that are

They also don’t have any new articles yet while they are working on that old news. I’d rather they work on things during the first day than sit around doing nothing.

It uses way less coal than I was expecting. Basically you can load coal in when less thsn 100 total. So I order 4 boxes of coal (200 units). Every time it drops below 100 I add one box to keep it topped off.

If you do not actually put a reporter on a story and let it roll over to Monday then it will NOT be old news when you start it after midnight on Monday morning.

you might want to rearrange the wall and desk buffs for your journalists as a couple of them are missing buffs, eg Jonathan your sports writer doesn’t have boxing gloves.

@@CharliePryor that amount of producers should be enough to keep up, imo one delay is that your typesetters have to take their bathroom breaks 2 floors up, then come back down to start working. Also yes, it's probably time to just trash stories with one bronze tag and unclog your drawer.

i think u need to drop every single news story, that only has 1 badge, unless it's a badge u are looking for, and keep your reporters free for the better news, as u can EASY get all the tags u are looking for, and still fill all the pages, and if u are a few short, get more ads...
