Because the heavyweight the division has been a complete joke and borderline dead ever since Klitschko came in with his awful style. The lighter weight divisions are now by far the most entertaining styles but it’s not fair to compare strength of welterweights to heavy weight. But their people that easily have Muhammad speed like manny, Ryan, Garcia and the technical and footwork said like Mayweather and Lomachenko.

Most Boxers in this generation took styles that old boxers legends used, but most boxers in this generation prioritized defense over anything, while the old school boxers were all about pushing what human limitations is capable of. Look at Earnie shavers, hardest puncher in the heavyweight division, Muhammad Ali, and iconic figure that was the fastest boxer in his generation and he was a heavyweight. It’s really hard to measure who has better skill since we haven’t gotten an full on fight between them, but considering that most old school boxers outscales newer boxers in every possible physical trait, I do not think any boxer from this generation would stand a chance against someone like Earnie Shavers, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and Sugar Ray Robinson.

@@haydenfu9053bums? Is joe louis a bum?, is archie moore a bum?, is jersey joe Walcott a bum?, Last time i checked when rocky Marciano fought 185lbs average. Nearly all his opponents were around almost around 30 to 40 lbs more. Plus 15 round fights were insane in marciano and joe louis era. There were hardly any 3 knockdown rules because it was hardly inforced. Then you got back head shots that were hardly illegal to the point it was almost legal. Not to mention the gloves they used were fucking hard as fuck back then. "Have you ever felt or put on a 1950s-1960s era boxing glove before". Because if you haven't think of it as mma gloves but harder. Modern day boxers today hardly fight these days the average boxing resume for pros is absolutely embarrassing. The average is around 25 to 30, deontay wilder is actually one of the rarest pro heavy weights our of 1500+ pro heavyweights with 40+ fights record. Whats even worse is that boxing amateurs have more fights than pro boxers regardless of weight division. Modern pro boxers today had more fights when they were amateur in earlier days of their career. Lomachenko for example had over 250 - 300 amateur fights. Currently at pro he's only has 20 fights as of 2023

Pacquaio has a achievement literally none of the boxers on the list ever came close to achieving.
@moo86984 ай бұрын
It's not something that boxers care about to be fair. It's not on their list at all to check weights. Pac at young age was flyweight and he kept gaining weight without intention as a lot of boxers do. A number of fights were catch weight, a number of titles were vacant. flyweight - won - then lost to Singsurat super bantamweight - vacant featherweight - draw(lost) to Márquez no belts super featherweight - lost to Morales - no belt super featherweight - vacant.. lightweight - won light welterweight - won against poor Hatton welterweight - won against Cotto.. super welterweight - vacant again.. As a matter of fact, this is 7 weight and not 8. The 8th weight was the "The Ring featherweight title" which is not as the rest. People like De La Hoya for example. They skipped weights. Mayweather skipped weights. Tweener weights are tweener weights. On the other hand Floyd has 2 records. Most titles hold and a shared record with Hollyfield, most titles won. If you compare their title fights: Manny: 17-5-2 Oscar: 24-5 Floyd: 26-0 Trinidad: 20-1 Calzaghe: 22-0 Hopkins: 24-5-2 Canelo: 20-2-1 Naoya: 22-0 Chavez: 31-4-2 Ali (the greatest? really?): 11-3 Sugar Ray Robinson: 14-7-1 Duran: 16-5 That 7 division is not that big a thing when you take into count that 99% of the boxer don't care about it. It's not what boxers want. If you want to unify belts, see Canelo. It was his goal to do it and did it in no time. Floyd did not unify belts because it was never his goal. It's easy to achieve something when the majority doesn't care about it. Manny did and got 7 actual titles - not 8. We don't count ring magazine belts as something. Imo, Manny is extremely overrated. Maidana was a far better boxer, sadly he lost to himself. Still, it doesn't matter he wasn't simply better. Singsurat could have been better and more known if someone picks him up. It didn't happen. As it is the same deal with many others. Manny literally has nothing but catchweight fights and vacant titles. + as many like to call Floyd this and that.. Manny won the majority of his titles against opponents that everyone knew he can do it. Canelo foughts someone bigger, he beat it. What was the reaction? He knew he can beat him, why he didn't fight the other guy? - Manny didn't get it. And there's a HUGE gap between the 2 of them. Crazy big gap in terms if skills, fights, knowledge...
