DJaySplitSecond And lets look at it even further. All those guys there I listed were TRUE welterweights. Naturals. If we look at a lot of Floyd's opponents at 147, most of them were not natural welterweights, slow handed, lacked punching power, or were old and past their primes. Canelo was in his prime when he fought Floyd, but he lacks in the skill department and he would have been absolutely DESTROYED by any of those guys I had mentioned earlier. It's because of all these reasons that I question Floyd as a welterweight. He was great at 130 and 135, no doubt. But the only times he was tested at 147 were against Cotto and Maidana, and neither of those two guys can compare to the 90s welters, let alone the 80s welters.

Tito was the most exciting fighter bar none and an honest fighter, that is he came to fight and always gave the fans what they wanted a war. He never ran, played peek a boo when he fought he always was straight ahead in your face and he showed his fans his love for them, what a great smile he is a genuine great person. To bad Julio Cesar Chavez never fought Tito, two freight trains on a collision course. Chavez was the same type of fighter, honest and straight ahead, it would have been magic Mexico vs Puerto Rico. It would have been incredible, I think Tito would have won. So much pride he brought to Puerto Rico.

+Lennox Fraser Not likely... Floyd barely beat an old Oscar De La Hoya at 154 lbs and he was far from unhittable and untouchable. Even Jose Luis Castillo at 135 arguably has a legit win over him... Mayweather would never fight Trinidad. The comparison with Hopkins is not valid because that was at 160 pounds where B-Hop was always a huge middle and he outsized Trinidad. No such luck exists for Mayweather who has fought nobody close to the caliber of Trinidad at 147 or 154 lbs.

Tito was boxing for the middleweight title. A title that Mayweather never held. If he had of fought against Hopkins, there's a good chance that he would have gotten beaten also. Tito beating Mayweather is not a given, because Mayweather has excellent skills to manage the ring, with hit and run tactics. If Tito had a hard time hitting DHL, he would likely have difficulties with Mayweather. Mayweather could very well out-box him - we'll never know
