Aj was scared from the spar they had and it was at the back of his mind.

No. AJ was also knocked out cold in sparring by Joey Dweckjo and David Price. He is a hypejob and manufactured fighter that got exposed by DDD and Ruiz
@AmaraldoАй бұрын
If that was the reason, he would've crumbled in the rematch vs Ruiz

@@Anthony.Joshua-s_Irish_Grandma I think his resume easily disproves any claims of him being a hype job. Those claims are better reserved for someone like Fury. A better claim to make is that this was a fight between two of the hardest punchers in current heavyweight boxing and the first man to receive a heavy blow was always going to be the one to lose regardless of skill and experience.
@Birmingham_racingАй бұрын
If that was the issue he would not have taken the fight in the first place

Anthony Joshua was a manufactured fighter and a hypejob. He ducked undisputed with Wilder, quit against Ruiz, got humiliated by Usyk and sparked out by DDD 😂

because he doesnt know what hes doing. He tried to outbox usyk ffs, when aj has never been a boxer and his knockout of Ngannou has obviously convinced Davidson and him that he is a knockout counter puncher. Im not a fan of him but ffs if he just had some basic fundamentals and fought like he used to when he wasnt scared of getting KO'd (before RUiz) hed be pretty much unstopppable becuase he is a physical specimen and does serioius damage when he puts his hands together

I think aj underestimated ddd even though he got hurt in sparring by ddd im guessing he he wont 80+% of the sparrings so he was confident he could outbox him, and that mentality carried throughout the camp into the fight ,thats why he looked like that and kept making all those mistakes and even when he was getting hurt kept saying ddd is sht ,even in the last exchange he threw 3 straight rights followed by a right uppercut with no set up feint jab nothing thats underestimating your opponent, but even if aj was well preprared i dont think he beats the ddd that showed up that night cause ddd was always going to land no matter what version of aj showed up ,and we all know how aj crumbles when he gets hurt.

Aj should have had his gloves up from start waiting for Dan to throw a punch, couldn’t out jab Dan, leaning back was asking for trouble. Nganu wasn’t a soft puncher yet Aj wasn’t scared to have a punch up . Look at Aj face he wasn’t marked up considering he took a pounding

Aj has done alot to raise the profile of British boxing but he has never been consistent. It just got to the stage where the hype overtook the skill and boxing iq. Eventually he was always going to be found out when he gets put up against a semi decent fighter. Undeniably his power is always the leveller but you gotta be able to take a few in return. No one is saying he's not a good guy or hasn't done good for charity but let's not say he's some boxing great. Aj Is testament to steering an OK boxer through a combination of pr and marketing and convincing the average Jo that he's something special. He never has been. To paraphrase Holyfield; aj has had great nights when there's been no opposition.

British boxing was big before Anthony Joshua. He fought a journeyman on Froch-Groves under card in front of 80.000 fans

Anthony Joshua has damaged boxing by ducking Wilder and Fury for years, he ducked Usyk for 2 years and petitioned IBF to move forward Pulev mandatory. He fought old men, conned the public with his fake humble persona and used PR bots and trolls on social media to defend his duck moves. Joshua lied through Eddie's mouth and was fighting 1 mandatory every 3 years for each belt during his time as champion
