Opponents couldn't believe how powerful he was even as a kid, they had to check his gloves to see if he had something inside. Even Omar Narvaez's trainer couldn't believe how he got beaten down so bad, he got the officials to check his gloves after the fight but everything checked out. Inoue said himself it isn't just his power because others punch punching bags harder than him, but it's his speed, timing and accuracy as well. Also his footwork to put him in position to land those power shots.

Awesome documentary on a stretch of Inoue's career that I think is quite underrated. Can't wait to see what else he can accomplish before he retires.

Yeah he was still fairly unknown before he entered the wbss. That certainly helped his profile on the world stage. But looking back you can truly see how talented and good he was. Yeah I feel he’s a more complete fighter now, he can do almost everything.

The first time I saw Inoue fight was against a Thai fighter named Jarupianlerd. He managed to go 10 rounds with Inoue before being crushed by an overhand right which is pretty amazing if you think about it. Another fantastic video Jaime. The music is really good too.

It’s too bad Inoue didn’t end up fighting Estrada, Gonzales , sor rungvisai or else his lower weight legacy will never be in question.
@cookiebot33692 күн бұрын
Because they all ducked him forcing Inoue to move up to 118. They were also scared to move up to 118 as well with Inoue waiting there for a whole 3 years and a half for them. Bam right now is exposing how overrated those fighters are at 115. They all would’ve been exposed moving up to 118 but they all decided to stay at 115 fighting each other never becoming undisputed.

Inoue never fought at Flyweight. (I just could not help myself)
@BoxingLife2 күн бұрын
I know, but he fought at light flyweight and super flyweight. I do say in the video the flyweight divisions. Just doesn’t have the same ring to it if put in the title or make it super specific.
@ShutUpAndPlayIt2 күн бұрын
nobody wanted to fight him. so he skipped the weight class and fought for belt and won.
@basketball12100Күн бұрын
Can one say he skipped over 115. That division had all legends roman Gonzalez Estrada rungvisai Cuedras. Would this be a duck ?
@cookiebot3369Күн бұрын
He never skipped 115. He skipped 112. He was champion at 115. They all ducked Inoue forcing him to move up to 118. Inoue stayed at 118 for 4 years waiting for them and they never moved up. All the guys at 115 are overrated. Instead of challenging themselves by moving up to 118, they all decided to stay at 115 fighting each other never becoming undisputed. Bam right now is exposing how overrated the 115 division is.

I wish he play Davis (tank) , who is creating such uproar in USA.
@pollythefarmer924622 сағат бұрын
Davis and his fans are knobs. Inoue KZbin video comment sections, are always ruined by the knob Tank fans. The Casimero fans are just as bad. Tank should fight Usyk, or anyone for that matter. A 30 year old prospect.
