The respect for the other fighter, for the sport, for the art that it is...is just incredible...Muay Thai and Thai pepople please never lose that, that is the most valuable of all of Muay Thai fruits.

Samart had such a natural feel for distance that basic things such as that traditional Thai front kick is shows such a good understanding of where he is safe and where he isn’t. He also does such a good job of taking the opportunities he’s given. Maintaining the backfoot while also manipulating for angles and counter shots. Shows why he’s the single greatest Muay Thai Fighter ever

Samart was a savant, look at his hip dexterity (which is the key to making his kicks and his teep in particular so deadly), balance, footwork and the fact that he was truly ambidextrous, the man was just unreal and a once in a lifetime natural muy femue.

Samart throws a brilliant elbow at 5:58, completely out of the blue. And I don't even understand the physics behind his tossing Muangsurin to the canvas at 7:39!

Elbow was an amazing parry of the cross Throw, could have happened from the beginning of the clinch. He’s rotating him the whole time.

@@stealth7516 Samart waaay slicker. Veeraphol was a good, basic boxer. Samart would run circles around him purely boxing imo

@@CNote825nah in terms of hands Samransak had better hands way more precise and vicious punches which his shown by his knockout ratio 90 wins 50 ko’s Samart was an extremely masterful Muay Femur
10:43 that moment is what i strive to be able to do, have such good balance that im always able and in position to attack and defend no matter what happens
He was so technical . He wasn’t just a brawler he out tricked you. He fought smart . When people Think of muey Thai they think of two aggression styled brawlers . But he fought very smart and used his technical abilities

What do you think,? If Samart vs Dekkers which one would be the winner?🤔

He was pure muay femur, their are other types of fighters.

@@kamikazeray4866 I think the answer depends on if Samart takes Dekkers serious and trains for the fight.
dude in the red is considered to be best of all time cuz he mixed ali's footwork into muay thai

FIGHTFANNERD9.I'm Gay for Moonbin well he had a boxers understanding of timing and distance. He knew where to place his strikes. It’s the same with Petrosyan where they know where they are safe so they seem so relaxed in the pocket and aren’t afraid to gain the angle or press an advantage. A lot of kickboxers lacked this conviction of distance control and just placing their punches with such predicated balance like Petrosyan or Samart. Footwork means so much and is more than one way to get that footwork done.

He was a world champ boxer.. WBC I think. The best at 2 sports at the same time.
