Its Warrens job to promote Fury, nothing wrong with that imho. Also, i think Fury didn't prepare properly for Ngannou fight and took some hit(literally and metaphorically) from that, so the decline, but Fury is not really old, so he could recover and i even think he could become even better. Fury is very talented fighter, thus he could change the direction.

@@robertm3561 I feel it was all wrong coming in light weight for Fury and should of stayed at his fighting weight of 19 stone mark he would of steam rolled Usyk, the Wallin fight he was light for the example was a poor night that one and overtrained with his old trainer telling him to hold back Wilder 2 Fury in that fight also shows and the clowning around not focused going to the ropes and corner just gave Usyk fire to come forward more plus with his dad within the team it all went wrong.....Fury lost that himself

@@t.d6379 well no, people had it 2,3,4,5,6,7 and also 12 back to fury... those other 5 are all USYK and a +1 OR 10 8 round ... meaning some people SOME had it 7-5 FURY In that case, the 10 8 round not really matter if its 7-5 Fury... I had it 7-5 fury at first... now I'm bouncing between 7-5 and a 6-6. with that rd9 benefit but you could still draw for THIS BIG OF A FIGHT... but USYK winning on 6-6 +1 is actually fair, even in this big fight, we do want a 'winner' declared so if you had it 7-5 fury.. damn.. but if you had it other ways.. then USYK SPLIT WIN is okay.

@utkarsh2746 1,3,5,6,7,12 to fury 8 arguable but usyk defo got back into fight. Fury masterclass off the back foot at times. Feel people have penalised fury for show boating as well which is stupid. Usyk was coming forward and getting pinged to head and body and missing. Even punch stats are off coz fury got hit so much in the 9th round. If that 9th wasnt KD round people would be struggling to say it wasn't a masterclass victory to fury. Think fury just seemed to have pissed that many people off they wanted him to lose. State of some of the comments to british fighter who showed that much heart in the 9th is abit wierd tbh. How the fuck he recovered so quick I don't know. But yee after rewatching fury win or draw would of been a fair decision infact a draw would of been better. Fury for me won more rounds and I think there is big argument to say he did. Mega fight though can't wait for the rematch. These are levels above the rest of the division.

@@jamestaylor841 The 8th round is where Fury got his nose punched in and ended the round all bloody and literally no one gave him the 1st. What fight did you watch? He was being backed up by pressure not having some "backfoot masterclass" Fury tried to hold the center of the ring in the 1st and immediately realised he couldn't do it. He tried running out to the center in a few other rounds too. He tried but just kept getting backed up with the punches that almost closed his right eye. Fury wasn't penalised for showboating just the punches he was eating before and after the showboating. The punch stats are "off" because of the 9th round? Brother round-by-round stats exist. Statistically Your boy got beat up in 7 out of 12 rounds. I really don't know if you're trolling or you just know nothing about the sport. Fury got punched around like a pinball machine bouncing from rope to rope and you think people just didn't want him to win?? My god the delusion!

Not a chance. People don't realize they're getting worse because it doesn't happen over night. It's small decreases over time in reflexes, chin, stamina, agility, power etc. So while Fury may be 15% worse now than he was at his best, he will only be 1% worse now compared to his last fight. You don't notice 1%, but you would notice 15% if it happened between 2 fights. Also fighting isn't easy to quantify. It's not like a 100m sprint where you can track your times over time and compare. Neither Usyk, Fury or AJ are in their primes anymore.

Its not that tysons on the decline as much as its just he goofs around too much. He gets out of shape drinks parties then trains like a maniac for training camp and tries to lose his fat. I think anyone can see his talent. Can you image anyone in any other sport doing that and being anywhere near the top? Could you image if usyk did ? He wouldnt have broke top 200. Fury needs to get his father out of his boxing life for starters. I think he should get back with ben davidson. Or have him and steward work together. He needs to quit partying and keep a general workout year round maybe hire a fitness coach or nutritionist year round. He has the money for it. If he did some of those things hed be better off and if he did them all hed be hard to beat for 3 or 4 years.

Peak performance against Wilder been inactive for too long now he's 36 he really doesn't have long left in boxing he needs to retire soon but I think he will struggle mentally when he does. He should face Antony Joshua to see who the top British heavyweight really is forget about the usyk rematch same result. I think he's been avoiding Usyk and Joshua for a long time myself, the chisora fights and dillan Whyte were easy cherry pickings.

You can't live a lifestyle of coke binges, drinking binges, late night carousing + extreme weight gain/loss between fights, then expect to be in your prime in your later years. The list of fighters who demonstrated this is long. On the short list - guys like Mayweather, Pacman, Bhop (Tom Brady) are not only generational in their talent, but they exercised extreme discipline and consistency to maintain their elite level into their late years. USZK is our current exemplar of this kind of consistency. This is why he beat the boogie man though he is older and smaller than the boogie man.

I disagree.. if he was held up by the ropes, then when the ref paused the round, fury would have touched down. It’s a subjective grey area, that allows refs to get away with stuff like this and it looks corrupt. Basically all he did was rescue fury, it should have been waved off.

@@peteroberts3232 if he was held up by the ropes he would basically be unconscious, so how would he not touch the canvas in some way? Take a knee? The fact he just straightened up then walked up and down the rope means he wasn’t out of it.

Why would Fury be on the decline. We saw the best fury just now against Usyk. Just because he didn't look great doesn't mean he performed worse than before. He was in the best shape we've ever seen him and that was clearly as a result of his last disappointing fight and the fact that he's fighting Usyk who did what he did to Joshua (before Joshua made Ngannou look like an amateur). Fury has definitely been in the camp extra long for this fight training probably the hardest he ever has. Came in the best shape he ever has. Has more skills now than he has ever had. Yes he didn't look his best in the fight but the credit goes to Usyk. I wasn't sure if Usyk was going to beat Fury, but having seen him do it the way he did. There wasn't really any luck to it and he fought the best fury that anyone has fought or will probably fight again. That might be the decline part, that Fury will never work as hard for this fight again. Maybe for a rematch he might but most probably not even in that case. He could still win the rematch who knows. I don't know. But the point is, it doesn't matter if we think Usyk "nicked it and pulled it off", the facts show that Usyk won the fight with no element of luck. He is the better boxer of course as he's fighting someone bigger. But he is the better fighter too at that size. In other words, Usyk at his height and size is superior to Tyson fury (he could be 10 feet for all we care). Fury hasn't really got much of a resume and Usyk is by far the best boxer he has ever fought. Klitchko is the only other person on his resume and that's about it. The Klitchko fight wasn't really much of a fight and I definitely would have felt my passion for boxing leave me if that was what all the fights suddenly became. But nevertheless fury won that fight so it showed that fury was better than Klitchko. Not all fights show it but both of these did. There was no element of luck favouring the winner in either fight. Fury is a great boxer. Usyk is what a boxer should be if they dedicate their life to it and have a really great environment + a few other factors of course.
