Honestly, I understand where the pharmacist is coming from. He might seem like a jerk but I work in a convenience store. We get junkies and homeless quite a bit. Although they can be nice, it’s rare. Usually they steal, bother customers, sell or buy drugs. It’s a headache.

Wish for the Djinn to be good instead of evil. 3. Wish to become King of the Djinn. 4. Watch as the monster that tried to tempt you is now horrified and tormented forevermore by the machinations of an evil greater than he.

Yeah the thing is, only the person who freed him gets three wishes. Everybody else that he succeeds in tricking only gets one. And the first wish you mention is rather vague and open to interprentation and you DO NOT want the Djinn to be able to interpret a wish any way he chooses, that's how he kills people all the time. Like how many questions does that wish cover? For how long? You need to be REALLY careful when wording any wish, let alone for a demon Djinn to grant.

There was an interesting case in Wishmaster 3 where the Djinn has taken the form of a friend of the final girl's ( that he had previously killed). Long story short the girl unknowingly made all three wishes early on. However the Djinn refused to fulfil the last wish and managed to resist his evil urges for a while. The reason for this is that her wish was " I wish I could love you for what you are"...
