It would be a 10/10 the chase was so good, but the end was so cheesy I've got to deduct at least 2 points. 1. She didn't have time to stop, stash her bike, and walk out into the road with how far she was ahead and 2. She had no way to know if he'd be able to stop/dodge making it a terrible plan in the first place. 7.5/10

Reasons why the action scenes in the Mission Impossible scenes are superior to anything else: 1. Geography. You get a sense of exactly how and where the duration of the scene takes place. 2. Editing. No overuse of shaky cams and quick edits. 3. Music. Or the lack thereof. Hearing the engines roar works better. Music only shows up when its needed. 4. Collateral damage. The writing of the characters (the good ones) and the director go through the effort of making us believe that this can happen realistically without killing a gazillion people on the streets. It feels better when the protagonist survives knowing that no mom and her twin babies got obliterated in a high speed chase on the sidewalk. 5.Containment. Less is more. You don't need 20 cars blowing up in slow motion; just a legit chase scene that looks realistic with some blow ups, but more focus on the detail. 6. Humour. Not cartoonish, not over the top. Just the right amount. I absolutely love this series (with the exception of the 2nd film) and I really hope MI8, which might be the last, won't ruin it.
