As boxing fans we don't care about what makes business sense. We want to see the fights. If history has shown us anything it's that waiting for these 'down the line' fights rarely comes to fruition. Smith v Azim seems like a great fight to make now. The loser can come again.

Eddie hearn went too far with his comments regarding Boxxer and the Azim situation, it got very close to bullying. Boxxer are in a difficult spot, Matchroom had their foot on Boxxer's neck and Eddie went for the kill unnecessarily. It makes no sense for Aziz to fight Smith at this time. Aziz is not ready and it will be bad for Boxxer's business if Azim loses. It makes no difference to Matchroom if Dalton loses, Matchroom business is so big, they would just move onto the next fighter.

@BONAF1DE1 Firstly, FYI name calling behind an anonymous profile in the youtube comments doesn't make you correct or big man. It shows signs of insecurities, why do your insecurities manifest in this manner? Secondly, if we are talking about 'good fights' for Dalton, Regis prograis and Montana Love would be more competitive fights for Dalton Smith. People are failing to take into account Adam Azim is a raw amateur, with loads of potential not a seasoned Pro. He is nowhere near Dalton Smith level, circumstances have led to the governing bodies calling for a fight Azim isn't ready for. I want to see competitive fights, not overhyped fights that are happening prematurely. Thirdly, the answer to all your questions is no. My comment is an objective opinion based on the information I have.

Said as much. You want more stepping stones? More fights to build profile and brand? Dummi. We just wants fights. Interesting ones. We don’t get Azim fight now we will never get it. He’s only capable of making the eight because of his age. He will be a middleweight in 2 years.

He’s European champion. If he’s too young to fight dalton then he’s too young to be champion. Plus boxer and sky were promoting them fighting knowing they had no intention to fight him. They would not let their fighters fight on a match room card that is a problem for us fans so stop protecting this clown shalom
