Boy, 14, killed in sword attack in Hainault, police confirm

A 14-year-old boy has died after a man wielding a #sword attacked five people in north-east #London.
Two police officers and two members of the public are in hospital after the attack.
The two officers received “significant”, but not life-threatening, injuries and will undergo surgery.

I lived in a house share with a dangerous guy… the police were called numerous times but no sign of on-call mental health professionals. We weren’t taken seriously. I raised all the alarms I could… nothing. He eventually moved out. I’m waiting for his face to appear on a news special. The system is a joke.

I believe almost every force in the UK has a firearms team as well, it's not just special forces who are armed. Normal response officers are not routinely armed with firearms.

WHY aren't police in U.K. Armed??????? Especially as this Country has become as bad as the 'wild west'... Police should be armed, so that they can protect themselves and/or to take 'out' a person / or persons who are murdering those who are in their way.
