His book is amazing, read it in one night, could not put it down. One of the most unique lives and personalities ever walks the earth. It's not all bright and beautiful, but it is an interesting and useful book, especially for those who have or are still struggling with sorrows and sufferings related to love, money, or dealing with self-worth struggles. Also a must-read for talented souls outside showbiz.

I was just a teenager in high school (I'm American) when Culture Club hit and hit the USA hard! America didn't know what to make of him, his hair, his makeup, his clothes and the truth coming out of his mouth. He was a breathe of fresh air for a gay teenager in a small town.

I was also, and for me it wasn't like that at all. He was just Boy George and we all loved him... no matter what he wore or makeup he had on. All 80s bands wore makeup...

Can't wait to get it his book!! Just ordered it yesterday!! I remember when I was 10 yrs old and Karma Chameleon came out and it was the first time music didn't sound like noise to me..There was always drinking and loud music in my house in my younger years so it was that song that made me start to love music!!.. If that makes sense?! And then Michael Jackson was exploding at that time and I am still a die hard MJ fan..Anyhow, it was Culture Club that made such a big difference in my life and I will always love them for that!! When I seen the video and him for the first time I had never seen anyone who looked or dressed like him and I loved everything about him!! ❤❤

I know I’ve got Boy George’s book for Christmas and I’m honestly counting down the days until I can read it! I’ve always loved and admired this man; the fact he’s managed to turn his life around is commendable, and the fact he’s still so grounded and normal despite his high fame is lovely to see! He’s also naturally funny and, if we’re honest, iconic! I love him 😁

Dermot obviously doesn’t know that if we’re not for the music from the 50s 60s and 70s there would not have been the 80s music including present day music…it is history that the 50s Rock n Roll era was the defining music that made the break away from the big band music of the 40s, the 60s was mostly psychedelic and folk..70s was a lot of disco, soul and funk…then the 80s…New Romantics, electric dance and new wave…❤️🎶🎶🇦🇺🇦🇺

My first concert seen at 15 was Culture Club with supporting act, King at the Birmingham NEC, I felt so grown up going on the train with my best friend Jackie whom later emigrated. Was I that bad? Best Concert in par with Pet Shop Boys, Michael, Janet Jackson, Howard Jones, Belinda Carlyle, etc, those were the days my part time job washing up and on YTS meant affordable tickets. Couldn't and would not be able to afford to see new artists. Thank you George. 👵🇬🇧
