I agree with your husband, the wires are not attractive but maybe you could have moved them over to just behind the headboard to hide some of it. I know that the switch is on the cord itself but I am pretty sure he could still reach it! I love the room though and those sheets, I want some of those for my own bed! Love the videos!

I would recommend sawing a chunk of drywall off on both sides of the bed to hide any cables from the lamp lights overhead. Or install some color matching cable raceways.

1st of all, I LOVE the notes on the back of the pictures from his pawpaw, that is so sweet and something he will cherish forever. 2nd Beddy’s are amazing! We bought our son one last year because his captians bed is an absolute pain to make, and he loves it! Great makeover! ⚾️

Have you considered using grosgrain ribbon to cover the lamp cord (under the off/on switch)? You can make them using adhesive Velcro as the closer. The At Home store sells them too. You can probably find a picture by doing an internet search.
