Would you rate this compared to the Neewer CM28? Seems like it clips a bit this mic. Distance not a concern for me. Thanks

The Neewer CM20 is a studio mic, was this correct? It is a USB gaming mic. It would sound better but not wireless.

on the outdoor test were you using noise cancelation ? and if yes , at what setting ?

Good question, no noise cancellation. I plugged it in and started filming. I did slip the mic into my shirt pocket to help with wind noise. There was a strong wind at the time.

is there anyway to know on the mic what NR you have selected. its nice to have, but if you make an adjustment whilst out away, how do you know which one you are sitting at/moving to?

Yes I understand. The receiver and mic has a blue led to indicate connection. When you press the NR button the light flashes green. Once, twice or three times depending on the mode it is in. Hope that helps.

Once you plug in the receiver. Press the little yellow button and you will notice a green light will flash once, then press it again and it will flash twice, again, three times. They are the three settings. More flashes, more noise reduction.

Yes, if you are not planning on being a long way from your mobile it’s fine. If your body gets between the receiver and mic it sometimes drops out at distance.

The distance test was carried out with the mic just slipped into my pocket. It works fine.
