Let's take this from the perspective that this started happening over the last 3 years. OP mentions at the beginning of his post that something traumatic happened to him at the beginning of the post. EVERYONE IS IGNORING THAT, but he also noticed that everything started roughly around that time, which is why it's mentioned. But let's assume, that as a responsible person, he got therapy. ANd his Therapist recommended either anti-depressants, or Anti-psychotics, or even both. And this prescription and dosage is for a man. WHat would happen to a woman who took them? Anti-depressants, if its too heavy of a dose, can make you depressed. Anti-psychotics, if its too heavy of a dose, can make you psychotic. And OPs wife started becoming pyschotic shortly after his traumatic event. Let's put 2 and 2 together. She's taking his drugs.

The wife in story 3 is a sociopath. An actual, legitimate sociopath. She is not "a good person otherwise." Nothing about her is good. She is evil, through and through. She has learned to mostly mask her sociopathic behaviour so that she can exist in society without being shunned, but she is extremely dangerous. She will most likely kill someone, if she hasn't already.

Story 1 I think OP buried the lead. She made a quick mention that her boyfriend keeps in touch with his ex’s. So she gets a message from her ex and decides to message and meet up as friends. Wanna bet all that with her ex was her playing a game of “let’s see how you like it.” He didn’t. Now she gets to play the “I didn’t think you’d care since you do the same with your ex’s” or she has to come out and admit him being friends with his ex’s bothered her and she used her ex to teach bf a lesson. Notice she said she showed boyfriend the Reddit post even though the comments totally thought she was the AH. Usually people only show their partner the Reddit post when Reddit agrees with them.

That sounds about right though I wouldn't be surprised if, "He still keeps in touch with some of his ex's," is actually, "he still talks to 2 of them and one was a close friend he tried dating for a week before they both decided they felt more like siblings and the other he broke up with on good terms and now they are coworkers who only talk to each other about work stuff." Also, sometimes people do show the post to whoever they "wronged" even if they are voted the AH but that's when they genuinely want to know and except that they were in the wrong.

Exactly! It wasn't the fact she was seeing her ex it was the fact she lied and was deceitful about it. And then when he got mad (rightly) about her being deceitful she turned it around to him being insecure and she doesn't have a problem with him talking to his ex's. It's not about who she was talking to or who she was meeting up with. It was about the fact she purposely lied about it. I would have a problem with my partner lying about meeting up with ANYONE even if it was their mother. Because it's the deceit the lack of respect the flat-out gaslighting. Making her boyfriend think he's the crazy one I suspect she lied about it because she was hoping something would happen between her and her ex and he shot her down or just clearly wasn't interested. And then she got home and just played it off as they were just meeting up to catch up. I definitely believe she was hoping something would happen between her and her ex. She's clearly a bad person and I hope that guy gets out of this relationship. liars are the worst people especially because they are always the best at lying to themselves.. They decieve themselves into believing they are good people and it's not that big a deal.

Not to mention if they see the cops come for a noise complaint you know they be stashing the baggies. If they don't own up possession can fall to the occupants of the house. Not too mention in some places just being in knowledge of that stuff can label you an accessory. Residue could be left behind as they are doing it in the bathroom, so imagine if OP ingests some too. We had no drugs rule in our house. A friend and my brother still brought weed and utensils into the house. We were showing someone around one day who was visiting and stumbled upon it. We had to try and explain to other family that it wasn't us etc. Said family member was an aunty and grandad was a former police officer who was high ranking and very by the book and aunty was also relatively straight laced. But imagine if it was our landlord instead? Or someone's kids. We didn't care if they wanted to use. The rule was don't bring it into the house/property.

I find it a little weird that not even one comment was talking about how its weird the switch up her boyfriend did? When she got home Saturday the first thing he did was ask how it went, so he obviously knew for SURE she was going to meet with him. It still doesn't make sense to me, the reasoning that he gave her? That he was moatly upset about their texting throughout the week. Because if she wasnt as honest about them texting all week like he said then he didnt know about it until he demanded to see her phone then he was even more mad that he didnt find anything? In any other story, reddit and everyone else would be saying hes projecting because hes cheating, which is what i think, but because it had to do with seeing an ex, something that everyone hates, you breeze past that. The only part anyone gave a crap about was her saying that she might see her ex. Which i get could be seen as manipulative wording or it could be seen as her trying to word it in a way that shows him he actually has a choice. If she said, "im going to go see my ex this saturday" he could see it as her telling him rather than asking. But her wording it as, "hey i might go see my ex this saturday if youre okay with it?" Makes it seem less like shes telling him its happening. People are putting their own biases into the story again. If i ask my partner something and he says its okay, then the day comes and he is okay with it until it happens then flips out on me, thats something wrong with my partner, not me???? How is this even a question, im so confused???

While I don't like OP's general attitude, because it feels like low hanging ragebait (which seems to have worked really well, because they managed to upset me lmao) I don't understand commenters in S1. I'm friends with my two only ex's (maybe it's a side effect of being queer on a small city? idk) so hearing people being like "you can't neeeeverr talk or worry for your exs because it means you still want to be with theeeeem" sounds alien to me. Unless all of you people are having explosive break ups, I don't know what to say S3 final comments: reddit's obsession with making everything a disorder kind of pisses me off. Sometimes, bad people are just bad, you don't need a diagnosis to see it, not every bad person is a sociopath or a psychopath, or has "sinester personality" or whatever. More in this case, because it sounds like OP's ex-wife is doing drugs, which contrary of what some people may thing, can make her act out of pocket depending on what she may be taking

Story one screams ragebait to me as well given that Reddit is notorious for going feral when cheating, or more so the suspicion of, is in the post. Posts like this will always get the more unhinged comments because if Reddit has it's way no one would venture outside, have friends or even co-workers without an accusation of infidelity or planning to be unfaithful, or having an emotional affair. I think Reddit is unhinged when it comes to cheating because its very populated with under 25's whose worst life experience thus far is a partner cheating and all the terminally online people looking for a reason to be angry.

Markee's agressive "mean girl" tone and the rest of the comments on the first story make me feel like I'm crazy. I thought Op's clarification that her boyfriend was also friends with his ex would signal a double standard and clear hypocrisy on the boyfriend's part. Op probably figured that her boyfriend's non chalant friendship with HIS ex's would make him more understanding about her's.

When OP was talking about a former classmate who'd died, reminded me of when I was watching the night news and they reported a shooting at a local bowling alley. Someone's ex had followed them and shot up the place. My high school's valedictorian was killed as a bystander. I sometimes think about what she could've have accomplished. Killing and harming animals is a precusor to performing the same acts with people. The FBI tracks these cases. It is animal cruelty. It is a crime. Sooner or later she will be arrested. The names and charges are published in the local paper. If you are still with her people may assume that you harm animals too.

The wife in the Story 3 is how murder mysteries start. The husband is in real and palpable danger here; he just can’t see it. It’s not just husbands and boyfriends that can turn out to be serial killers. On the rare occasion, it can be the wife or the girlfriend, too. This is one such instance where the chance of her killing someday or already is high.

Many people thought Ted Bundy was a great guy until the truth was exposed. Anna of story 3 can get better but the amount of self-work and compliance to her treatment plan will be tremendous. For most mental illnesses that are frightening to others, the person suffering must remain compliant or the illness progresses. There is a school of thought that the illness will continue to grow even though treatment typically will alter behavior. If treatment is discontinued, the illness does not appear at the pre-treatment level. It manifests at the level it would be at if never treated. That is why GPs, Psychiatrists, and therapists all check on compliance at every visit. Some also think alcoholism behaves similarly though alcohol tolerance does decrease for the vast majority of those who go more than two years without drinking. I have seen alcoholics who have not had a drink in 5+ years struggle to “feel good” (drunk) yet their behavior showed signs of inebriation after their third drink in an hour.

I'm going to also assume that he is much larger than her, so his dose is meant to manage him, and too large a dose of anti-psychotics actually MAKE you psychotic. Two of my ex's including my exfiance are in my childhood friend group so I sometimes see them at parties or gatherings. Even the occasional happy birthday text is fine. However constant texting and solo hangouts are just weird. If it was so innocent why not invite her current partner? Or hangout as a friend group? Seems suss to me.
