You’re right. I call that the Ozzy 7. I had to blow it up to see it clearly. Funny thing is I had no problem identifying it as a 7 in my copy of Goblin.

When the collector bug hits you so hard you have to buy the edition in a language you don't speak. I totally understand that. I have to have every edition.

... I geek out over language, so with my favourite novel, being able to compare the Spanish dub of the movie adaptation (which was different than the subs) to the book's Spanish edition was WILD.

And I keep looking at the CD Germany edition of On This the Day of the Pig by Josh Malerman with illustrations by Daniele Serra. DAMN THOSE EPIC PRODUCTIONS!

As a book collector, and all around language/translation nerd, this is really cool. (cute aside, feel free to ignore. Before my first trip to Germany, when they hosted the World Cup (what was that, '06?), I read Harry Potter und der Stein der Weisen to prepare, because I knew the source material well enough. And that saved my ass a HUGE fine when I didn't have a train ticket and the dude didn't speak English. 'Ich hab kein geld' (I have no money) is still one of the only things in German I remember.)

Your number looked like 173. Funny, my copy is 174. They accidentally sent me two copies by mistake. I sold it to Sean Lynch, but I didn’t open it to see what number that copy is. We’ll have to wait for his unboxing.
