Hi, 13 year old me. Alam natin kung paano ka nabaliw sa kantang ito back in '09 nung pumatok ito sa radio. Palagi mo pa ngang inaabangan and one of the magical moment that happened to us is, late night na at may pasok pa bukas then binuksan mo yung radio ng mahina lang kasi tulog na kasama mo sa bahay, then saktong sakto pinatugtog tong song na ito. I miss those days, 1st year HS, tapos dream phone ko Nokia 5310 Xpress Music na phone. Tapos nakachucks tayo yung may kwelyo haha. I will never forget yung pakiramdam na unang mainlove or magkacrush nung time na yun. haha nakakakilig puro pasulyap sulyap Miss ko na yung kilig na yon. Char!!. Unang broken heart mo din non, umiyak ka sa cr ng room nyo. Uso pa nun love letters. Ngayon 29 na ako, those days are still the golden days for me, although mahirap ang buhay natin noon but I am so thankful kay God dahil ngayon mas maginhawa na at sobrang layo na kung ikukumpara ngayon ==== Thanks to my younger self because you survived all of the hardships (poverty, sexual abuse, toxic parents, sex at an early age because you thought it was an escape from your abuser, suicide attempt, etc) I can't imagine you have to go through with all that. You survived so I could live.

This song came out when I was 14, I'm 24 now... Crazy how a song like this became so influential on a generation. I remember going into freshman year listening to this and making it my MySpace song so girls would go to my profile and listen to it. All the days after school talking to people on AIM and posting away notices that were song lyrics. Back when I didn't know any better and we didn't care. No smartphones, we had to ask permission to use the computer. Mom and dad would always yell at me Bc I was always on it listening to music/using limewire and talking to people. I'm 19 and am a sophomore in college and I can't stop but feel crushing nostalgia from this. I can only imagine everyone commenting here is relatively the same age/ generation as I am. This was what I listened to all the time: BLG, ATL, FTSK, WTK you name it, this was and still is our lifestyle. Being in college and the increasing responsibility and pressure makes me really sad sometimes, like the glory we experienced like the kids in this video has gone away and "tunnel moments" or "owning the night" are only memories or have been corrupted with the blurry lens of alcohol or drugs. But to those like me who despair and miss times like these or wish they made better the opportunities we had back then HAVE FAITH. We are still young and THANK GOD summer is almost here. The only thing I haven't in this video was breaking into a pool, but maybe we can go pool hopping. To all of us we are still young and reckless and we are never too old to watch a sunset and make amazing moments with friends, especially for those of us still in school and college. So to all of you guys out there, the summer is near, so when we get there, go meet up with friends, grab a drink and grab a guy or gal. We are still in the summer of our lives, and with each summer the memories get better and better, and that part of life is never over. We'll stay reckless and our soundtracks remain endless.
