Even though I'm Italian, I do prefer to watch your videos in English language, which is my second language, because your explanations of biology theories and facts are plain simple and make me catch the real meaning of what has been taught. If I had had a teacher like you during high school I would have likely ended up enjoying studying biology - which is what I do now when I'm 38. What can I say more than "Thank you so much"?!

Very good question ! Natual selection in a concept/theory. Just an human feeling and approach of our complexe Universe. Just think to the word "select" : it imply a choice ! Is the choice a substance ? Or a force ? Here, we are in the frontier between the Matter and the Spirituality.

Those are merely descriptions of nature. Biological evolution can be defined as any change in the inherited traits of populations over successive generations. It involves genetic mutation, natural selection and speciation. This is demonstrated conclusively in experiments and observations from biology, genetics, organic chemistry and paleontology. The conclusion, supported by overwhelming evidence (and 99% of scientists) is common descent.

Natural processes don't need external guidance. Everything we observe in nature can be understood to have natural causes. If you wish to believe natural causes were made possible by the god that you believe in, I have no reason to argue with you. But I personally don't need to believe that. I gave you the definition of selection in biology, I hope it clears up the confusion about what it means. Thank you.

Dogmatism is a posture we found among religious as well as scientific. Don't know how to class your pseudo-scientific approach of the Cognition. A day come when another kind of scientific, linguist, explain you where you fail in your exegesis of the Sacred Books. Myth is also about Cognition, it build our representation of the reality through thousand years. There is enough amazing linguist gems in semit language, like the representation of time and space. The research is opened, even for you.

But I wasn't being unclear. Everything in science can be understood rationally without invoking the supernatural. As far as science is concerned, the laws of physics alone can describe the workings of all other scientific disciplines. Organic life is described by biology, which is described by chemistry which is described by physics. Physics is simply a description of how the universe operates.

You go in the same direction : natural Selection in contrast of Artificial (man made) Selection. In both case, there is Selection. The OT and Qur'an had told us this. Selection imply a will, whatever its origin. In both case, Selection imply Spirit. May you catch the point : OT and Qur'an is about Cognition, not myth, above myth. Evolutionist dogma is a secular myth.

The conflit between creationist and evolutionist is about ignorance on both side. The first didn't study deeply hebrew-arabic vocabulary of the OT and Qur'an, and the second are lost in taxinomy. I can bring you the names of Allah (God of the OT) which denote Evolution, Adaptation, Selection, ect. In the OT (genesis 1-1), the name of God appear like this : ELOH-IM. There is so much to say here. The Final IM related to the Matter before Creation of the Universe and what is dwelling it.

There is two point to considere : -Natural processes > what is the concept on nature (is coming from) -Natural processes don't need external guidance. > What means "external", of what ? in what ? Your sentence have near no sens. - Think logic : coordination rather of "guidance". I offer you methodology. This is linguistic matter too. You work too much on beliefs, study free.

That's not accurate. Natural selection is used in contrast to the term artificial selection. In agriculture and dog breeding, we observe artificial selecting all the time. It's how we got all the breeds of dogs descended from Gray Wolves, by selecting the traits we liked for mating. Nature does this simply by an environment being difficult to live in, so only the fittest survive. We conduct experiments using natural selection on bacteria strains all the time.

I guess English isn't your first language, because I don't think you understood what I said. But I would hope that you study natural selection in your own time. It's a way of describing which organism survives long enough to reproduce. But I don't care about religion, honestly, it doesn't matter to me at all.

"Selection: In Biology: a process" : What's a process, and what is controling this process ? One God imply 1 Matter, and we know the Matter is dwelled by a coordinated Process.
