The molecular universe is an amazing place to observe and study. It gives us insight as to our place on the space-time scale and, more importantly, allows us to better understand that around us which we cannot see. Fascinating.

Teach my TEACHER! Things seem harder when she assigns them.

@Ahmmad K, maybe its because your teacher is giving assignments that have to deal with application and goes in-depth with this topic, whereas the video here lays a basic conceptual understanding.

There were some helpful ideas here, but I saw no mention of a classic neutralization reaction of an acid and a base. No mention of water and salt as the products. You hit some of the ideas of acids and bases, but... curiously not the one in the title.

A little mistake. Reaction between strong acid like HCl with water has only one direction (from left to right). It's not reversible process.

@onbluebirdmovies
@onbluebirdmovies 5 жыл бұрын
Mahnoor Rashid there’s a list of the strong acids. You have to memorize them. It’s about 6 or 7 strong acids. Anything that is not in that list is considered, and will therefore behave, as a weak acid.

how does a PROTON ESCAPE THE NUCLEUS of the atom in the acid and move towards the base?
@bobjones1950
@bobjones1950 5 жыл бұрын
Remember that a hydrogen Ion is the same as a proton,the entire nucleus of hydrogen is a single proton so during neutralization you're transferring the ion i.e a proton
