This is FANTASTIC! In so many ways. Thank you. Haven’t gotten to the panyard as yet due to illness, but this is the cleanest recording I’ve come across. I’m able to hear all the instruments so clearly. I shudder to think what this feels like in real life. While music is subjective & we all want to ‘feel good’ & we have our favourites,… if we want pan to continue to do well, evolve & go forward, some of us really need to be become educated in music. Musical ignorance will stifle pan, especially when the source is someone negative who cannot play, compose or arrange. This arrangement is superb. Any individual going around commenting it is not is simply embarrassing themselves as they show their low musical intelligence. Having been trained classically to be a concert pianist, it is heartwarming to hear OUR music on OUR instrument both so rich in ALL aspects. This song was already wonderful and this arrangement is now amongst the greats of Renegades Steel Orchestra.

Sweetest pan.was last years rendition of Feeling to Party, a mastrpiece. Listening to pan since the 70s and Renegades in 23 was sweetest pan you will ever hear in yuh life, nothing will ever compare to that performance, or maybe I might be wrong, 2024 sounding sweeeeeetttt.

Hey yall take it easy on Sean. He is entitled to his own opinion even if his opinion couldn’t be more wrong. That song was pan perfection. I have never heard and arranger use the entire band the way Duvone does. No matter what pan you playing, your role in important as much as the lead pans. Playing bass for Duvone require a high level of fitness, cause you gonna be all over the place. The man arranges music. At this point, he has transcended just pan music.

Duvone has gone clear of all the other arrangers, and I guess we all just need to appreciate and recognise greatness! Having Exodus a good 4points clear is just bonkers!! The ending of the song was weak and their arrangement didn’t paint the same musical journey as Duvones. Tbh Fonclares was better than Exodus Hands down and look where they placed!

Ask them to take a photo of a Pan and to come up with a Spherical Geometric equation as to why a Pan gives such magnificent Harmonic Sounds.They have equations for pianos , flutes , violins and what not as to why they do what the do.Where are the Spherical Geometric equations to tell us what the Pans of Trinidad do?
