One thing I cannot get behind is encouraging people with personality disorders to have children. It's *immensely* unfair to the infants, toddlers, and young children who have to suffer growing up with them. Children NEED nurturing...it's not optional, it's a BASIC need for their neurodevelopment to be healthy and normative.

Question; is this integration also helped along (for some people) by taking LSD? There are many professionals who support the legalization.

Kernberg is right on. Individuals with either a mental illness and/or disorder are always limited. And that is probably the most difficult of their lives they have to experience. They also drag family members into their problems since they can not function by themselves.
