We live really close to a park and also an outdoor mall and usually take this to give my kids a lift while my wife uses the Cycleboard (another amazing 3 wheeler as well)

These is a huge market for making electric mobiles for disabled folks. Problem is that the current market has jacked up prices making it hard for many of us to invest in them. Besides, we don't all need heavy duty wheelchair, but it would be nice to have a little help with our manual ones, especially going up hills. I would be so appreciative if you designed an affordable electric system, that could be put on manual, self-propelled, wheelchairs. It would be SO helpful! Thank you.

If I could afford a bike like this, I'd get one immediately - I'd never have to be worried about being carless or homeless again. Its frame could easily hold an attachable canopy that a solar panel could be attached to, a solar power station could be mounted on the frame, and cargo could fit easily on that back seat, in fact, it's probably strong enough to tow a bicycle camper :) I'm praying for something just like this.

for riding passengers the motor needs an upgrade I think to 1000 or 1500 w, other wise start ups will be to hard to get going and will be lower speed, under 15 with a passenger.

I don't know why they keep using those breaks they are trash your so right about the breaks.I have one of there bikes and I had to change the breaks because they could not stop my bike they worked for a few weeks that was it.

hey there Olivia! i'm happy to hear you dug the review. this is probably the best passenger trikes we've reviewed since it's a rickshaw style. there's quite a bit of room back there and there's also a seatbelt.

You should visit Amsterdam or Edinburgh. Where you can get pedal powered (sometimes electric battery assisted) pedicab taxis 🚕 Was some experience me and my pal as passengers in the back of a pedal powered pedicab. The woman cabbie must of been going at about 30 mph. Pulling herself and us along just using pedal power over the beautiful cobbled streets of Amsterdam!

Is that expensive and doesn't have a differential ? And the motor mounted on front hub will add stress to the fork. Only one sprocket on pedals ? I wish it had another smaller one, to help hill climbing. Still very expensive for what it offers.

yes needs more gears in order to do proper peddle assist for sure 7 speeds only works between 10 and 14 mph also for a passenger the750 w is way to tiny, needs a 1000 or 1500. and motor needs to be on the mid or in the rear

So it’s more of a one seater(wish it had 5-600lb max) I guess. Yeah mechanical brakes are so annoying to adjust over time. Wish I had spent more for hydraulic. I carry up to 310lb.

i think it’s a price thing. i think 750 would be fine for flats and small hills, but if you need an electric rickshaw for climbs you’re gonna want to go with a mid drive anyway

@@reygallegos4912 you do need to peddle assist if you want to go more than 17 miles on a battery. I get 17 m without a passenger when i dont peddle and i get 24 if i peddle assist up hills ect. This trike is being sold under different names . They just change this or that and put a new name on it. shop around for best price. I am going to upgrade mine with a 1000w or 1500 w motor kit. Very good prices i found and easy to do.

Once again, with this cargo bikes, more than anything we need a mid drive rather than a front wheel. What seems extra silly is that they skimped out on the front wheel not even being a 1000W. At any rate, seems like you could get a lot of fun, but it just makes me wonder every I see this style of trike without a mid drive and a basic differential.

what’s good, Aidan! you’re exactly right... when it comes to efficiency, the best choice for ebikes like this is a mid-drive so you can leverage the gearing. i think this is probably geared towards people who don’t have a lot of big hills in their area, and/or those looking for a budget buy. i mean 2500 ain’t cheap at all but compared to like a Bosch mid-drive you know? how’s your Thursday man?

i think for steep hills it won’t be enough. you’d definitely have to pedal. but i’ve seen professional rickshaw drivers on analogue bikes tear up San Francisco hills with two passengers so who knows what would happen if you have them an extra 750 watts :)
