@@sqlexp Maybe its for consistencies sake, you could technically just not use the parentheses until you come across a negative value, but doing it that way is inconsistent and would probably just confuse struggling students. I suppose this consistent parentheses usage for every single value would be akin a guardrail to hold on to, most don't really need it but damn the consequences if you would have needed them and they were not there

Finally understand the cross product part. I thought it is the 3x3 times 3x2 matrix and was really confused. Turns out it is just a hack to calculate the cross product so it comes out more nicely. Thank god I haven’t forgot _that_ much of my vector calc skills 😂

This is gonna sound incredibly stupid but apparently I can't trust my phone calculator, because if I do -6² it gives back -36 while when I enter -6*-6 it obviously gives back 36. Which it should be, right? Am I crazy?!
