Wow, absolutely amazing video. I was gutted when it ended !!! Talk about bringing nostalgia back. Thsts how i remember Crewe. Always something moving off the depot. Locos changing, from Electric to Diesel or vice versa. First time i ever went was on sn overnighter via Carlile, with a mate of my dads and his mates (my friend and i were needed for the railcards) we were gobsmacked at how good it was. So much so a few years later my friends and i done exactly the same trip and they were blown away by how good it was. Crewe quite simply, was the Railway Mecca of its day. Many thanks for sharing this and to whoever said the 20s were on the Llandudno - Derby. Thank you i was wondering if they were on the Crewe - Nottingham turn because i'd got 37408 on that. Id got thwre and that was sat waiting, i asked a guard where it was going, when he told me, i ran to the ticket office and got a return to Derby. Happy Days.
