Hey I've been binging your salty/rage videos and I must ask for advice on something. How do I NOT be a sore loser lol. As much as I hate it, I can't help but become furious at a loss. In fact, it's to the point where I can't even enjoy online matches. I'd consider myself a decent player and I know I've picked up some bad habits from CPUs. I don't know if you've struggled with this but you seem like a really good sport in general.

lmao I know what you mean I get the same way when I lose too bro, just have to remember that each loss is a learning experience and when you lose that for the most part means there was something you could have done better or different that would have changed the out come of said match. So instead of getting mad I'd try and focus on trying to recall the match accurately to see where you can improve and what could you have done differently to avoid losing! But everyone loses so it's important to remember that one or two losses isn't the end of the world, everyone has to hold an L at some point lol

Hey man , i know this is out of the blues , but i have been playing mkxl since the start of january 2018 and i started playing online in august and i have been radically trying to improve and i just quite cant get to that level which most players/pros are on . I am a decent player and i can beat my fair share of people but when it comes to the pro seen i lose most of the time and sometimes its coz of my slow reactions to things and i just want to know what i could do to help me reach that point i want to reach

keep playing against those players that make you feel like you're trash because it'll help you to improve. You have to learn what you're doing wrong match by match in order to improve on those mistakes and get better

ya you can start your combo differently with a forward 2 into a back 2 (if I remember that move correctly). You generally end your combos with the spear/teleport to vortex since you don't have the demon to extend it. I'll be making a ninjutsu video for his vortex soon enough :)

the combo is 214 not 124 so that could be it and also try turning off release check in your controller settings and doing it without release check, see if that helps you. I can't do combos with release check on

I had the same trouble aswell and if yoyr still having trouble then as soon as you hit B or O on your controller do the teleport button input like down back A or X then you will teleport and sometimes you willl drop your opponent as soon as you do the teleport and also i press X or 🔲 (square) twice instead if Y,X or 🔺,🔲 (triangle,square) and it still works but you gotta be real fast and you cant mash B or 🔲 (square) at the end of external vengence or it wont let you teleport so you gotta press it only once. Hope that helped!

Is it just me or is back 3 to low minion impossible. As soon as I hit back three then down back before I can even get to 4 for the minion he's already teleporting. I remember this in MK9 as well. if you hit 3, and then down back, he teleports even though you essentially put the command in backwards

There’s a very small timing window with the DB3 (minion grab) because if you do the minion grab to early the down key gets mixed with your back 3 witch it registers as a teleport. It’s all about the practice and I still can’t get it consistently myself.

you can do the spear apart of the 2,1 so that right after 2,1 the spear is apart of it and it should come out. If you're still having trouble just keep practicing. I would recommend turning off release check in your controller options in the menu. I tend to struggle with doing combos with release check on but that's up to you! :)
