Yes, it’s easy against new players... go higher up and spamming will result in insta-death. It’s actually not easy to win with ninjutsu - you have to be good at mind games.

If you are using the d-pad you might try the stick it's easier for quick movements just have to be more precise with your inputs

The combo is 34% meterless : (f2/b2) b2 b2 njp j3 db3 21 bf1 jump over punch 4 db3 Options to end combo ( which are optional ) f4 bf4 B 121 D2 F2 and start over Unsafe 1 meter combo with low start up 31% : B3/B4 DB3+MB NJP J3 DB3 21 BF1 jump over punch 4 DB3 (and then end combo)
