Firstly, let me just say that your energy is absolutely gorgeous today. You look so calm and clear. I understand what you mean about wobble. I am being forced to stand up for myself in a way that it has taken me 30 years to do right now I have another opportunity and it is challenging everything I’ve got! For the last few weeks, I’ve been seeing license plates that say “EVE” at first I thought it was biblical but now I believe it is “the night before….” Something? As a French person living in the U.K., I did appreciate your reading on France, which I found very moving. I confess that I am worried about the violence in Paris at present, in particular as the Olympics are to take place soon. I hope and pray that love and reason will eventually prevail. I have also visited Rocamadour, which is a place of pilgrimage. Apart from the sword which has been stolen from the rock-face, there is a small chapel which houses a statue of the Black Madonna. This beautiful place is full of history and legends. I am intrigued by the fact that someone went to all the trouble of stealing the replica of the famous sword as it was lodged in an inaccessible place. I hope it can be replaced as the people of Rocamadour are sorely missing it. I would also be interested in a reading on Joanne of Arc. Thank you Amanda.

In Australia it is mandatory to vote locally, at a state level and then federally (all elections held at different times). If you are an eligible voter and you don't vote - you are fined. Also - to my knowledge, if you 'spoil' you ballot/vote - it is disregarded (tossed out) - it does NOT go to the current party in power.

I did read the manifestos and also those of the local candidates and I have been awake half the night processing and analysing the stats from The Guardian live updates. Never was there more a case for electoral reform than now, going forward. Thank you for an excellent teaching. Personally I welcome it, and I am not triggered at all. You are 200% realistic in your approach. I voted at local level too. In East Thanet we had around 57.9% turnout, miraculous indeed!

I don't always agree with everything someone I resonate with says, and yet when I don't agree the resonance itself causes me to consider what they have said that is from a different perspective, generally causing me to gain insight that is altogether new. From Australian Electoral office site... When a ballot paper has not been fully completed, is completed incorrectly or you can identify the person who voted, it is known as an ‘informal vote’, and will not be counted toward the election result. At federal elections, nationally around 5% of votes are informal.

I also think the ruling of an informal vote is as a result of having compulsory voting for all over 18 year olds here in Australia. The compulsory vote changes certain parameters in defining what is and isn't a legal vote. Having said that though, my view for the past 15 years of elections in Australia is that is there was the 'none of the above' choice, they'd win office.

Thank you. I found this interesting. I have already voted in the UK. I have mobility problems and am registered for postal voting. I voted and returned the form Wednesday 19th June. I did look up and read the points of the manifesto of the various parties. Of the 2 main parties, I wrote to them both but only got a reply from Labour. I voted for the least of not very good options. But where I live Tory is usually a safe seat. But this may change. I will just wait and see tomorrow. Take care and best wishes.

Hi Amanda, I love all your videos and thank you for everything ❤ I live in the south of France and hadn't heard about the theft of Roland's sword so checked it out. The stolen sword is apparently a replica. It had been stolen back in 2011 too! I must admit that I'm feeling a bit shaky in the run-up to Sunday's vote, which is new for me. Moving to France was a childhood dream and I've been here since 1991! The general energies have really shifted since 2020 and I don't recognise the country I fell in love with. We can't have a blank or spoilt ballot paper here, same as what you said about Australia. My heart is heavy today. Just to add that the left wing parties have come together to counter the options of Macron and the far right parties.
