WOW! Brackenfur is one of those character's who is never given attention. His sister was Cinderpelt, one of the biggest fan favorites. And he gets no love. But regardless when you take time to appreciate his character you realize how great he really is. He loves his mate and his kits. He is extremely loyal to Thunderclan and just a good guy in general. Thank you cola for opening up mine, and hopefully many others eyes to appreciate this wonderful character you are truly amazing.

Brakenfur suffered a lot for a cat.. he had to watch his sister loose what she wanted to be most, then watched her sister die, as his mate had to watch her best friend/ his sister be killed in front of her, his mate then died after Molekit and Honeyfern did. But not before she gave birth to Seedpaw and Lillyheart, Seedpaw then drowned saving her sister. Dam Brakenfur you need much more then 1 map for all youve suffered.

Brackenfur has always been my favorite character...he's only a minor character, but he is so courageous and kind, funny and understanding. He was so patient with his enthusiastic sister, and so broken when she was hurt and he couldn't help. He wasn't frustrated when his mentor wasn't there for him. He went through so much suffering, and yet always stayed loyal and sweet. I don't care if he isn't a big character, he will always be my very favorite.

Brackenfur's such an underrated character. Like honestly he would have some of the best povs on everything, and was in the generation right after Firestar's. He's been in every massive battle since the beginning, and has proven himself a great character. He's lost so much, and yet still gets next to no recognition. When you think about it Brackenfur really got the short end of the stick. His younger sister Cinderpelt becomes a fanfavorite thanks to her "incident." Cinderpelt sits the life out of being a warrior. His suppose-to-be mentor Graystripe ditched him for his waifu then later gets captured by twolegs. His older sister Brightheart gets her face torn apart and gets the same love as his sister. His mate nearly gets killed and his sister dies next to his mate, then two of his kits die too. His mate dies too. What a sad, sad world.

Boy when GrayStripe had no time for him, i felt sad for him but Fireheart always had time to train him as BrackenPaw, He's very loving and kind and loyal to thunderclan, he made Fireheart proud and it helped him a lot after Cinderpaws leg got ran over... For those that don't quite understand the story, from someone who very much loved Sorreltail and Brackenfur, this is my understanding, from start to finish. in the middle of Brackenpaw's apprentice training, his mentor--Greystripe--was visiting Silverstream and never spent any time actually training him, so Fireheart trained him instead. His apprentice was Tawnypaw, but in the middle of their training she left to join ShadowClan. Cinderpelt and Brackenfur are brother and sister, which most people seem to miss for some reason. Cinderpelt used to be Fireheart's apprentice so seeing her brother train to be a warrior while she was stuck in the medicine cat den was painful for her. Brackenfur noticed this and felt bad about it, but after Cinderpelt got Leafpaw as an apprentice they all started feeling a little better. I also must mention that Leafpaw and Sorreltail were actually really close friends during Leafpool's point of view in the books, especially during when the forest was being destroyed. I always saw Sorreltail as a really sweet, strong, and supportive character due to her interactions with Leafpaw. Shortly after Leafkit became Leafpaw was when Greystripe got captured by twolegs. While the journey is happening Brackenfur and Sorreltail become mates, bonding over the adventure. Brackenfur, according to what I've read in the books, has always been very strict about his own loyalty as he wants to prove he is different from his mentor Greystripe--who fell in love with a cat from another clan and then went to join it for his kits, and his apprentice Tawnypaw--who left ThunderClan to join her father in ShadowClan. He wants nothing more than to be a strong warrior and to benefit ThunderClan--but Sorreltail knows there is more to life than strength and duty. (about 1:10 ) After the drama with Leafpool and Crowfeather is when the badgers attack and kill Cinderpelt. Brackenfur is extremely broken about this because she was his sister. As she passed away was when Sorreltail gave birth to Cinderkit and Honeykit. She named her kitten Cinderkit in honor of Cinderpelt, who protected her while she was giving birth. Shortly after, Rainwhisker (her brother) informs her of Sootfur's death (her other brother) Flashbacks at 1:27 show when Darkstripe, her older half-brother, poisoned Sorrelkit with death-berries, and other troubles she went through throughout her life but worked to overcome, showing just what a strong character she is. 3 cats shown I believe are Sootfur, Molepaw, and Honeyfern. I believe the grave shown belongs to Honeyfern, who Sorreltail was especially broken up about losing as written in the books. It should also be noted that Honeyfern took care of Hollykit, Jaykit, and Lionkit when Squirellflight couldn't. I should also mention that when Sorreltail was just an apprentice, her mother died defending Sootfur, and her father died shortly after fighting Bloodclan. After the dark forest attack, where Sorreltail and Brackenfur fought valiantly, Sorreltail neglects to tell anyone of her wounds and instead hides them to care for her kits. The wound ends up bleeding out and Sorreltail passes away, still trying to care for Lilykit and Seedkit. Brackenfur and his two daughters, Cinderheart and Poppyfrost, are sitting vigil next to her. Flashbacks show Cinderkit, Honeykit, and Poppykit (Molekit should also be among them but was not added for some reason) being born. It shows Honeyfern and Poppyfrost becoming apprentices (I think), and finally it shows Seedkit and Lilykit being born. I believe that's all I need to explain. amazing MAP, everyone did an extraordinary job and i've shed my fair share of tears over this video aha

Brackenfur really has lost a lot. His mentor Greystripe was never there for him. His sister Cinderpaw, was hit by a monster crippling her for life. His apprentice left him for Shadowclan. Then his father Whitestorm was killed in the battle against Bloodclan, his younger sister Brightheart was also attacked by a dog and scarred for life. Then when Sorreltail and Brackenfur's first litter of kits become apprentices, Molepaw catches Greencough and dies. Then Honeyfern is killed by a snake. After, the battle against the Dark Forest Sorreltail does not go to a medicine cat but checks to see if her second litter of kits are safe, but she sadly dies after seeing they are okay. Lastly, Seedpaw drowns as an apprentice. So all in all Brackenfur had lost the most out of any character and because of it he is my favorite character. He can keep going and not give up even though he lost almost everything, his mate, his kits. He is by far the best character in my opinion that warriors has.

Watching this again reminds me of how much I love warriors. You get to see every cat's entire lifespan. Although you might have to see them die, you get to see them grow, develop, and love while most books and movies only have a small portion of the main characters' life. In warriors, there are countless main characters with their own stories that are all connected in even the smallest or biggest ways imaginable. Amazing.

Like; - His dead sister, Cinderpelt - His dead father, Lionheart (idek if it showed but still. Heartache) - Some of his dead children. (Same as the lion heart ^^ ) - then last, but the worst, his dead mate, Sorreltail! The end when he & other cats (I'm not naming bc I'm typing important shit rn) found/saw Sorreltail's body, I curled up and balled my eyes out. When MAP cats cry, I cry!!! This is beautiful work, I've never seen anything like it! It's really sad, though, but it's really sweet. I love how in the end there's death, and then his mate comes back in a dream. AND, in the very end I LOVE it when Brakenfur's mate comes back in Starclan form, I it shows that he is dreaming of her. (I think)

Brakenfur is such a great character. He is underestimated, and a good father and mate. Not to mention loyal to his clan all the way through. Erin Hunter really did a wonderful job with that character, aside form the fact that he was underestimated. And Cola, you did an amazing job with this Video. You brought the story of Brakenfur to life, and it brings tears to my eyes every time I see it.

What I like about Brackenfur, is that his life is just as hard as many of the main characters, but unlike them, he doesn't throw himself a pity party everytime something bad happens, all while remaining realistic. SO many of the main characters overreact at little problems and don't react enough when something big happens and just lose all personality the moment that we stop following them specifically. This is beautiful to watch, I'm glad Brackenfur is finally getting some love

Imange how Brackenfur felt when his mate was giving birth. He was outside the nursery trying to defend his mate and almost born kits when he was knocked aside thinking that maybe just maybe Cinderpelt (his sister) and Sorreltail (his mate) might be safe. Then when he went to see the happiest things of his life his mate his kits and his sister. Instead the first thing he saw was his sister dead. Please give this poor boy some love❤

Agreed 10000% He literally was alive for a lot longer than Bramblestar, and he has a lot more personality than Bramble and a better story, Bramble's character is mainly based on him being Tigerstar's son. Brackenfur on the other hand has gone through hardship, heartbreak (at the death of Sorreltail, Cinderpelt, and some of his children) that didn't stop him from being one of Thunderclan's best warriors, he definitely deserved that leadership role more than Bramble in my opinion :P
