This is easily the best type of class guide I've seen, I've always watched your vids but i have always struggled to maintain consistent dps in dungeons. And while i understand the importance of flame shock seeing the nuance behind how you use it and spread it around has been extremely helpful. I would love to see more like this, and this is a big ask but making a video like this for each dungeon and your mindset during would be amazing. Throw em all into a playlist and just refer people to that when they need an ele guide. Again thanks for the walkthrough, it was awesome

I feel you bro.... FS Cd is soooo ridiculous i just cant... They need to either make PW or LMT apply FS to ALL TARGETS and only cleave up to 6 targets (that's fine I guess) and make Haste and lava surge only benefit up to 6... Just give us spread and real uncapped aoe.... Everyone else has uncapped dots and fun stuff and we have to spread a random 4sec cd dot that hits for nothing but impacts us like crazy. Way more than any other class, imo.

This video has given me a lot of clarity on the mechanics of spreading and maintaining flameshocks and the extra tips like what to do if you get aggro are invaluable! I need more of these vids xD Recently started on my shaman alt as ele and I feel so lackluster in terms of dps. Part of it is Flame shock management for sure, but it gets a lot worse in bigger packs. Also single target I feel like I have a lot of downtime casting lightning bolt, not sure if that's just me tho

surprised you prefer to double lmt rather than pwave-flameshock-lmt-lvb which also nets 6 flame shocks but saves your 2nd lmt to either be haste buffed if the pack lasts long enough or up for the next pack if its short

Nah if you use it later it won’t be up for next pack. Plus blood lust double lmt does a lot of dam

I still don't get the general of lava beam, I get that if I have stormkeeper it's top priority but should I just send it or use a lava burst before or an earthquake? And same for when I don't have stormkeeper buffs, how many targets do I need to switch to lava beam? Please help senpai

Don’t worry about lava beam. Meatballs into quakes :). Lava beam is too risky and damage isnt really worth it.

Primordial wave procs elemental blast from tier set. This gives us surge of power which makes our flame shock hit two targets

Hi. Unfortunately lightning is not good because there’s no synergy with our tier set.

The damage of it is kind of crap but still better than earth shock while aoe. It also procs instant lavaburst for you.
