BRACKET RACING For a Trailer?! Our BIG BLOCK 1970 Camaro Gets a NEW Converter... Will This One Work?

One of the most fun events every year at Firebird Raceway, Idaho is the Club Championship Runoff. All year different clubs compete as teammates trying to eliminate other clubs racers... until the club runoff. The top 24 drivers in our club faceoff against each other and winner of the whole event gets a brand new car trailer! My 1971 Chevy Nova was super consistent all weekend and I was pleased with my finish line driving. I'm working with a new trans brake location that will hopefully help me be more consistent in the future.
We also have my dads big block 1970 Chevy Camaro back in Idaho but this time with a fresh torque converter from Hughes Performance. The car already seems to feel better just driving it around but we will find out next video when we take it out for the last race of the 2024 drag racing season!
