This...is actually quite true! My car needs repairs currently so every now and then, I take a cheap taxi ride to my mom's place after work since she's really close, then she drives me home when she gets off work. One day, she had to work a little longer than usual. Her dog went to the patio door (which looks out onto the front of the apartment complex) and began to pace. He went back and forth for nearly an hour between the patio and the front door but he did not begin this until it was around the time my mom should've been home. He didn't ask me for anything (I had already taken him out), his only focus was waiting for her. When she finally arrived, he was a ball of ecstatic energy and she appreciated hearing how loyal and concerned he was :) If you've ever seen that episode of Futurama with Seymore (based on the story of Hachiko from Japan), I can imagine that becoming my mom's dog, Maximus. He's always thrilled to see me as well but it's her who he will wait forever for :)

As a person that loves to bake as a hobby, there have been soooo many times a recipe that was easy for me and came out perfect, somehow messes up in the most disastrous ways.
