Most of what Brad is talking about follows what the great guru Dr Bob Rotella says….forget science, mechanics, stroke thoughts….keep it relaxed and athletic and putt like you don’t care if it goes in or not!

Right eye dominant people = slightly open stance. I've tested this on a bunch of people and if you want to start the ball on the line that your eyes see, and for that line to also match the line to make the putt, if you are right eye dominant, then it is almost a must to stand slightly open so that your vision while standing at the side of the ball, equates to what you actually want to do.

Paul, I couldn't agree more! 🙂 *But then again, you could putt side-saddle and you could see the line even better... Maybe another video? 😂

what about left eye dominant

@@RollYourRockHe also has his eyes well in back of the ball at address, which I think helps release the putter.

@@A-FrameWedge I think it may have more to do with seeing down the target line.

He is definitely a great putter, but like a lot of great players what they feel like what they are doing and what they are actually doing sometimes don’t align. He talks about having a lot of feels in his right forefinger finger tip, but his is not even on the shaft, and I have heard saying not on this video but in another video how he likes the backswing longer than the follow through, which he definitely does not do. Puttis about good mechanics but even more about confidence and consistent stroke.

Brad's right forefinger/index finger senses pressure beginning during the transition from backswing to forward swing. I believe he tries to maintain that slight bit of pressure during the downswing and through impact.
