This gave me quite some insight and knowledge about Brad's collection. It's cool that he mentioned the 7 string situation. Most Linkin Park songs are in Drop C#, Runaway and With You are in standard 7 string tuning but missing the high E I think and those rarer songs like Don't Stay, Nobody's Listening etc are in Drop B. Plus some Hunting Party songs like Guilty All The Same are in Drop D. I wonder why they changed tuning so much.

Yes, it will sound similar to Heavy, but that doesn't mean it's just going to be pure pop with no instruments but what we got in the single. Chester and Mike even stated there's going to be rap in some of the songs. And unless the name is putting me off, Battle Symphony sounds like it will have some orchestral instruments in them. And I have a feeling One More Light will have a piano commonly playing in it.

I would love it if Linkin Park would use 7 string guitars again on a future album. It doesn't have to be the way they were used on Hybrid Theory or how other bands tend to use 7 strings. Just some experimental way that is fresh and different but completely Linkin Park!
