One of the things I love most about Brad is that he doesn’t take himself so seriously. He can make super serious songs & turn around and make a cheesy song. He’s also known for giving back to his community when needed. I don’t think he thinks he’s as good of a guitar player as he his, which honestly makes him even better!

It seems to me that one thing that sets Brad Paisley apart is the fact that his "Fun" songs are incredibly technical musically speaking. More so than most of his serious songs. I don't see that with a lot of artists. I didn't hear it until you pointed it out, but that pass back and forth was absolutely amazing! Question for you Kieth, I'm not really a Guitar player, but I've seen guitar players walking around while playing, is that hard to do? It seems to me like that would add another level of complexity to an already difficult skill.

I don't find walking around while playing challenging at all. But don't ask me to try and sing and play at the same time, unless you're wanting a bit of awkward hilarity. Star to play, mouth stops. Start to sing, fingers stop. I simply can't do both. - Keith

Yes Brad does let loose in his funny songs more, I think he keeps the guitar low key in the serious songs so the lyrics send more of the message than the guitar.

If you're looking for more music of his like this, then he has another song called American Saturday Night. Good guitar work and the last minute of the song is just instrumentals. He also has a couple instrumental tracks where he and his band are just showing off. There are a couple live performances of them floating around KZbin. One is called Nervous Breakdown, Time Warp, and Throttleneck. One's live on Letterman and it's pretty good.

As I've said on here before in comments I grew up in Indiana, so your joke about indiana. Made me laugh being now that I'm in Pittsburgh and I run into somebody that finds out I'm from Indiana and ask me what it's like to grow up there. I asked them 3 questions in response first one. Have you seen a farmhouse? Second one have you seen a barn Third one have you seen a cornfield if the answer is yes to all three I say you have seen Indiana. Although one of my fondest memories growing up is driving down highway 52 North out of Lafayette and seeing all the trees in the fall turning colors.

Great reaction!! This is one of his songs that you can very easily take as simple, but isn't. Listen to the lyrics, you can miss the fantastic music, listen to the instruments and you could miss the hilarious lyrics... Listen to it on the radio and you miss an epically funny video. I was born in 95 so I'm in-between Millennials and Gen Z just depending who's definition you look at. I feel like I was really blessed because of the family I grew up in. I didn't use the Internet until I was 16-17 years old and even then it was very limited. I didn't get a computer of my own until I went off to college. By that time I'd already established who I was in real life, and I'd already developed my morals. I detest dishonesty so the idea of lieing to make myself look better online is not something I even considered doing. I took me a little while to realize I was in the minority when it came to that. I wonder if the dichotomy of the real vs online persona has affected the seemingly increase in mental illness?
