I can only hit the 👍 once, but in my heart and mind, it's a thousand times.

I've been in music for over 40 years. I've played with some of the finest musicians on the planet. But, the best were always Country players. No question.

Always has been, the first shredders were country flatpickers. The musicianship of Western Swing still blows me away today

Chris, I love how much (well-placed) confidence you have in your abilities! It's obvious that you have worked on the song a bit, but you are just hearing/watching Brad do these licks and then you do them.

It's interesting to see the guitarist who came up with a solo explaining how he played it. There was none of that, pre-Internet! Most of the time, when I play in covers bands I only play note for note solos if they're a) really easy, or b) iconic. Otherwise, I'll improvise a solo, then after a few gigs, I will have developed a solo by trial and error. This saves a lot of time on rehearsals, and keeps the sound fresh.
